  I don’t like getting ambushed by salesman as walk in the door. Countering people’s objections might be a good corporate sales strategy but it’s annoying at. The other employees were helpful in finding what I actually needed.

  Im only leaving a star because I have to. Bought a refrigerator was told if I also bought a stove they would "bundle" it and id get 25% not only did that not happen i didnt even get the actual sale price of the stove. But it gets better. So the day of the delivery i was told that id get advance notice for it because lets be real you need time to empty a fridge and freezer plus what if you need to put something in the oven you dont want it to be hot for them when they arrive. I got 4 MINUTES, yep 4 MINUTES from the time they called until the time they arrived. I was to have removal but the guys insisted they werent taking it so I call Lowes and apparently they never added removed. Despite the guy at store telling me to have it installed and removed I had to pay $39.99 per each appliance and buy new cords which I did. When I called the manager she said that removal was an additional $79 but they would pick it up in several days. Ok now to find a place to put an extra fridge. I live where you cant just have appliances outside. But wait it still gets better. So after all of the mayhem from having 4 minutes to basically disassemble my kitchen we finally 3 hours later get things back in order . Stuff put away and start reading all of the manuals to set stuff up but wasnt that what I paid for? Anyway I come down in the middle of the night and theres blood everywhere the thing DOES NOT WORK!! BARELY COLD. Not alot you can do at 4am so I wait and call right away at 8am. Was told "no manager unril 10:30 i will have him call you as soon as he gets in" i said "well please do im losing all the food we have my the minute. 10:50 no call do I call them. Long story short they cant do anything about it until TOMORROW. TOMORROW??? IM losing all of the food I have for my family for the month. So I knew i was getting no place so I call corporate and they double check to see if they can send someone right away. Like why even look if you arent going to make them do it. So I asked the lady "what am I supposed to do about losing everything"? She asked to put me on hold and comes back and says "I talked to my manager and we can give you a $50 gift card"???? Excuse me WHAT????? A $50 gift card to where lowes? She never did answer but in assuming so. I said "thats a total insult ive just lost all of my food because of lowes bad service and faulty appliances" So she says to me had you purchased an extended warranty it would have covered the appliance and food" Ok so lets talk about this because when they sold me everyhing I specifically asked about warranty and return and was told "you have the warranty for 48 hours, for anything after 48 hours you need to buy the extended warranty" its funny looking back because at the time I said "I sure hope nothing would go wrong in 2 days" but here we are . So back to the lady on the phone I say to her well with an extended warranty it doesnt kick in until the 48 hours have passed" which she verified " so im not even at 24 hours so Im covered with the purchases warranty". Well guess what they say "no" and I tell them to just come get their junk out of my house ill go elsewhere but ill take the gift card they insulted me with. Well and wait for it (I promise this is the last time) she says "we can only give you the gift card once you have agreed to them bringing the new appliance " i have NEVER been so i guess youd say disrespected and dumbfounded as a consumer my entire life!!!!! Oh there actually is one more thing. I had actually called the state college store as well to see if maybe they had availability to bring it today and when they answered I asked i to speak with a manager and the kid says " i work here maybe I can help you and I said "this is a management issue and I need to speak to one" he wouldnt allow it!!! Please dont purchase from Lowes safeguard your investment and your sanity!!!!

  My last three trips to Lowe’s have been a waste of time and gas. They barely carry anything in stock. Their answer is just order it on line, what’s the point of having a store ?! When you call the store to check availability, it’s hard to speak with an associate.

  just spoke to a lady from customer service who had the absolute worst attitude with me. we forgot something in our cart and she simply dismissed us and said well if it’s not in the cart when you come back then we can’t help you. we live 40 minutes away and she couldn’t even find the decency to see if someone returned it or it was still outside. smhh
