- PBPris BlumeMay 9, 20262.0Store 2566, Lehighton. My friend and I spent the day out, we went to country junction which is over an hour from our home. While eating at Arby's I said to him that I wanted to go to lowes for strawberry plants. Between the 2 of us we spent over 150$ on plants. I found 2 strawberry plants that when I picked them up they were falling out of the planter. I spoke to an associate that marked them down, they were 16$ each and i got 2. While standing in line at the register we kept picking them up and putting them back in the planter. When we got to the register, Michael an older gentleman was at the register. He said to me in a rude voice, I sold a ton of those today and they all looked good, how much are they marked down. I said I didnt know I just figured they knew from the color of the marker he used how much they were marked down. He then told me rudely well will you go get the associate, a huge line behind us. I went to a register in the store, told her what I needed and she told me he had just gone on break and couldn't get him. Another gentleman came out with me, while Mike continued to be rude. Needless to say I left the store without them. Had I known this I would have just gone somewhere else for everything. I was embarrassed by the way he was acting. I will never stop at the lowes again. I buy my flowers every year at the lowes in pottaville and never have any problems . The staff is always courteous and helpful.
