The selection of my Blinds was easy, However, once I paid, I constantly had to follow up. My blinds were delayed, two of them arrived wrong, I had to keep following up and calling the store. The store would give me date dates, and when the shipment was delayed, I didn’t receive any notice. Thankfully, I called the store days after the date that I was given… SHOCKER, my blinds had arrived and been sitting in the store. You would expect if you paid ~$3000 for Blinds you shouldn’t have to consistently call for updates.

IN-STORE VISIT (King of Prussia, PA)
Michael Duris (sales associate/window treatment guru) was so helpful. His patience and expertise made this long-term decision making a breeze. Having never purchased blinds before, I had NO idea except that I wanted white blinds to brighten up the rooms. Michael oh, so patiently walked me through each stage.
According to Michael (and my handwritten notes), there are many things to consider.
Light Control & Privacy:
blackout fabrics for bedrooms, light-filtering options for living areas, or tiltable slats (like wood or faux-wood) for adjustable privacy.
Materials:
faux-wood or vinyl for high-humidity areas like kitchens and bathrooms because they resist warping, real wood for a premium natural look, or aluminum for a sleek, durable, and budget-friendly option.
Style Options: Shutters, valances, colors, slat size, decorative cloth ladder tape (colorful options, runs vertically in front of the cords)
Lift Mechanism:
standard cords, cordless designs (safer for kids and pets), or motorized systems for convenience.
Mount Location:
sit inside the window frame for a clean, flush look (requires precise measurements) or outside the frame to block more light and hide specific trim.
(And, of course, I changed my mind once or twice!😊)
INSTALLATION
Installation was wonderful. Tom Smith tackled 23 windows and provided expert clean service, clear explanations including warranty, cleaning, etc. (Did you know there's a trick to avoid fading and another to provide maximum privacy?).
By the way - be your installer's best customer - give 100% CLEAR access to every window - NO, no, no...
