Ask for Ralph who cuts lumber at Lowe's (near the Galleria, Johnstown, PA). Takes great pride in his role and is mature enough to recognize the value of excellent customer service. He noticed me right away while waiting by the lumber- cutting department.
Ralph deserves a promotion and a raise! He will be my go-to guy next time I visit Lowe's.

Quite unimpressed with Lowes in Johnstown. Went there on 5/29 with my mother to help her find a new washing machine. We had a pretty good idea of what we wanted. We patiently waited while Emily in Appliances took 20 plus minutes to ring up the people ahead of us (10 minutes of which was mindless banter after the transaction had concluded). There was another gentleman who was also waiting after us.
Some random Karen marched up to Emily to complain about something she had purchased the previous day (one would think you would go to customer service for that). Emily began speaking with this woman (instead of telling her she needed to wait her turn). My mother politely said "Excuse me, we were next." Emily derisively turned her head and rudely stated "I was getting to you." Having had enough at that point we decided to take our business elsewhere. You couldn't pay me to set foot in that store again.
