I am extremely disappointed with the service we received from Spring Dance Hot Tubs.
In mid-December, we scheduled a service call because our hot tub heater was not working. Before anyone even came to our home, we were required to pay a $250 service fee, which we were told would be applied toward any repairs needed. While that seemed reasonable at the time, what happened next was anything but.
The technician arrived, looked at the hot tub for no more than 8 minutes, and expressed concern about refilling the water because the outdoor hoses were frozen. Instead of diagnosing or repairing the issue, he told my husband that he would come back in the spring to look at it again. No repair was completed, no solution was provided, and our heater remained broken.
Despite accomplishing absolutely nothing, we were still charged the full $250.
Fast forward to April, when my husband called to follow up and schedule the return visit we were led to expect. We were shocked to be told that Spring Dance would require another $250 service fee just to send someone back out. In other words, they wanted us to pay a second service charge despite the fact that the original issue was never diagnosed, repaired, or resolved during the first visit.
When my husband questioned this, he was told that his concerns would be "passed along to a manager." When they called back, their scheduler said we are being charged to come back out again. The manager never took the time to call personally.
Charging customers $250 for an 8-minute visit that resulted in no repair, no diagnosis, and no resolution is unacceptable. Expecting those same customers to pay another $250 to continue addressing the exact same issue is even worse.
This experience has been frustrating, disappointing, and completely lacking in customer service. We feel as though we paid hundreds of dollars and received nothing in return. Based on our experience, I cannot recommend Spring Dance Hot Tubs.
On that note- if anyone knows of a good friendly FAIR hot tub service company, please pass their information along.
