Littery the worst Lowes I've ever been too! Corporate really needs to look at this store! After multiple bad experiences, I'm fed up with this place. 90% of workers don't care and are nasty. Store MGR doesn't even care! Store needs a total firing and customer service trained staff to replace the whole store.

As a long-time customer, I have become increasingly uncomfortable using the self-checkout at this store because my experience has been consistently different from that of other shoppers.
On multiple occasions, I have been stopped by the self-checkout system for supposed item-scanning errors that ultimately required an associate to inspect my bags. In several instances, rescanning an item resulted in a duplicate charge, and attempting to correct the duplicate triggered another alert requiring employee intervention. The end result is that my purchases are searched, even though no wrongdoing is ever found.
What concerns me most is the pattern I have observed. When I shop alone as a Black customer, I am frequently monitored closely throughout the checkout process and repeatedly subjected to these interventions. By contrast, when I shop with my White spouse or my White contractor, I have not experienced the same level of scrutiny. Whether intentional or not, this creates the appearance of racial profiling and leaves me feeling singled out and humiliated.
If a customer has been searched repeatedly over the years without a single incident of theft, there should be some recognition that the customer is simply trying to shop like everyone else. Every customer deserves to be treated with dignity and respect, regardless of race.
I respectfully ask the store’s management to review its self-checkout procedures, employee practices, and any loss-prevention protocols to ensure that customers are not being disproportionately targeted based on their appearance. I want to continue shopping here, but I also want the same experience afforded to every other honest customer: the ability to complete my purchase without unnecessary suspicion or repeated bag inspections.
