I wanted to support a local business instead of buying from a big-box store, but this was one of the worst customer service experiences I’ve ever had.
Before ordering, the salesperson specifically told me to go home and measure my existing refrigerator. He even gave me instructions showing exactly how to measure it. After I called back with the measurements (my current refrigerator was 32.5 inches wide), he assured me the model he ordered would fit. Based on his recommendation, I paid over the phone.
When the refrigerator was delivered, it was only 30 inches wide—not what I expected. I immediately told the delivery team it wasn’t the correct size, but my old refrigerator had already been loaded onto their truck, so they left the new one.
The next day I called the salesperson, who then claimed the refrigerator was supposed to be 30 inches all along. That made no sense. Why would I intentionally replace a 32.5-inch refrigerator with a significantly smaller one after he had me measure specifically so he could order the correct size?
Brent’s response made the situation even worse. Instead of acknowledging the mistake or trying to find a reasonable solution, he blamed me for the entire situation and refused to accept any responsibility for the salesperson’s recommendation. Although I was willing to exchange the refrigerator, he insisted I pay a $300 restocking fee plus another $99 delivery charge. I even offered to split the restocking fee as a compromise, but he refused to discuss it.
Mistakes happen. What matters is how a business handles them. Unfortunately, Cabin Hill Appliance Center chose to blame the customer rather than stand behind its own sales process. The complete lack of accountability and poor customer service from management ensured that I will never shop there again, and I cannot recommend this business to anyone.

Lynn and Dan did a fantastic job on delivery and installation. Very professional, knowledgeable and friendly. It was a great experience purchasing our refrigerator from beginning to end. Our salesman Jeff was knowledgeable and was able to answer any questions we had during the buying process. Very friendly and personable. Would highly recommend getting your appliances from Cabin Hill.

I am extremely pleased with my experience in purchasing and with the delivery and set up of my new refrigerator. Michael and Owen were polite, professional, and detail oriented and careful, measuring all openings prior to moving the appliance and took precautions not to damage doors, trim or the appliance.
DiVito was a good listener when I told him what I wanted/needed in a refrigerator. He went out of his way to show me what would accommodate my needs. I will definitely purchase from Cabin Hill for future appliance needs.

I couldn't be happier with the service and the professionalism of the people I dealt with. The salesman was knowledgeable and helpful. And Mike and Owen were so wonderful when the delivered and installed my new refrigerator. They answered everyone of my questions. They went above and beyond to help me since I had recently had back surgery and am not 100%. They are the Rob and Ross lol of delivery men!!!!! Cabin Hill is lucky to have them!!!!!!!
