  Working with Pye Barker has been a nightmare. We got told that our rates would be jumping by a huge margin. After giving notice we wanted to cancel they tried to lock us in with vague fine print saying we had to be locked in 5 years at a time. After they finally admitted that they couldn’t honor their pricing structure that the agreement was made under then they agreed to let us out. We got confirmation in writing (and in the cancellation contract) that we would get 6 months refunded once the cancellation was signed. That was over 3 months ago and they still haven’t sent us a reimbursement check. We have followed up with them multiple times and every time we are told “someone is looking into it and they will get back to us” but they never do. I am beyond frustrated. I have heard the same story from multiple people. They have become known for buying up other small security companies and forcing the customers into these 5 year contracts and having proprietary equipment that no one else can touch etc. Do not trust them.

  Horrible. My account switched from Choice to Pye Barker and I didn’t receive calls or alerts when my alarm went off. Then when I went to cancel due to moving they are trying to charge me for more than 60 days past my date of notice to cancel.

  I'm updating a previously low review score of 2/5 to a 4/5 because of improved services over the last year. I switched away from Pye Barker monitoring but use them for inspections and service on two of my buildings. Brent Eshelman has been particularly helpful to me in my time here and has done a lot of great work to coordinate our inspections and keep us in compliance with all of the parties in charge. The techs are typically professional and courteous. I have had no issue going and picking up parts for my system when I've needed to and the billing team always gets me what I need on time. I might give 5 stars with continued experience on this track.

  Katrina answered my question when I called in, explained how things worked, and fixed our issue right away. It is so nice to be able to call a supply partner and get something fixed right away, especially when working in a busy manufacturing environment.
