Steve Yeager in windows department went above and beyond finding the correct windows for our house since they where old and dimensions only gave us a select few to match other windows on the house. He spent a fair amount of time doing these special ordered windows came almost exactly when he said which we all know how that goes sometimes and the correct window tint as well! Can’t say enough about Steve great asset to this location and we need a few more to finish the back of our house and definitely see this guy. Thanks Steve

Went into Lowe's for a piece of molding. Had previously been to Home Depot and couldn't find anyone to assist us. We were greeted warmly by Rich Mcinery as we entered the store and were later assisted by BettyAnn. BettyAnn tracked down what we were looking for, although it didn't come in the width we needed. Both made our day with the extra effort they provided . They and the store are to be complimented for outstanding customer service.

I rarely leave reviews like this, but this experience was incredibly frustrating from beginning to end.
I purchased a refrigerator at the Easton Lowe’s and scheduled delivery for August 29. Two days before delivery, I received a text asking me to confirm the delivery date and my address. I confirmed both. The text clearly stated August 29.
August 29 arrived and I never received the normal delivery window or any notification that there was a problem. When I went back to the original text and clicked the tracking link, I suddenly discovered that my delivery had been changed to September 1. Nobody called, texted, or emailed me to tell me the delivery had been changed.
I called customer service to find out what happened. They couldn't explain why the date had changed and told me they would contact the store handling my order. To my surprise, they said that was the Stroudsburg store. I purchased the refrigerator in Easton, not Stroudsburg.
After being transferred to Stroudsburg, I was told that Easton apparently did not have the refrigerator in stock and had transferred the order to them. This was especially frustrating because when I originally went to the Easton store, I was planning to purchase a DIFFERENT refrigerator. The salesperson specifically recommended this more expensive model, told me it was nicer, and told me THEY HAD IT IN STOCK. I trusted the salesperson and spent more money based partly on that information.
Stroudsburg then had to check whether they even had the refrigerator. They called me back and, unbelievably, they didn't have it either. I was told they could order one, which could take another week, or try transferring the order to yet another store.
At that point, I asked the employee a simple question: “How long would it take if I canceled the order and got my money back?” He told me it could take a few days. I then asked whether I could get store credit instead so I wouldn't have to wait several days for my money before purchasing another refrigerator.
His response was essentially, “Well, I already canceled it.”
I NEVER TOLD HIM TO CANCEL MY ORDER. I asked how long a refund WOULD take. Apparently, asking a question about my options was interpreted as authorization to cancel an approximately $1,100 purchase, including taxes, delivery, and removal of my old refrigerator.
So after all of this, I am now without a refrigerator and waiting for a refund I never actually asked them to process.
To summarize: I was convinced to purchase a more expensive refrigerator because I was specifically told it was in stock. My August 29 delivery was confirmed. The delivery date was then changed without anyone notifying me. My order was transferred from Easton to Stroudsburg without me knowing. Neither store actually had the refrigerator. And finally, my order was canceled without my authorization while I was simply asking about my options.
I understand inventory mistakes happen. Deliveries get delayed. What I don't understand is how this many failures can happen on one purchase without anyone proactively contacting the customer.
I started this process needing a refrigerator. I ended it still needing a refrigerator, approximately $1,100 temporarily tied up in a refund, and having wasted a significant amount of time trying to figure out what happened to an order that Lowe’s had already confirmed for delivery.
Absolutely unacceptable experience.

These charges are likely authorization holds that are placed throughout the life cycle of your order to ensure the funds are reserved for your purchase. When you place an order, your payment method is authorized for the full amount of the purchase. As items from your order ship, your payment is charged and the authorization is no longer held by Lowe’s. Orders shipped in multiple shipments will be charged separately at time of shipment; therefore, you may see multiple charges, but they'll never exceed the full amount of your order. For orders with longer lead times, your method of payment will be reauthorized to ensure funds remain available until your item is shipped.
