Shady business practices. Door to door salesman wouldn't leave. I ended up accepting a cheap price to spray yard (he actually expected a check [not credit card] in advance! Uh, nooo) but when I called to cancel a bot answered and couldnt cancel the appt. So I canceled w salesman. But they came and sprayed anyway when I wasn't home.

I called regarding a digging wasp issue in my yard, and I was booked for an appointment for the following day by avery who was very helpful. Graham came out and communicated in the morning the exact time he would arrive, explained everything in detail and took care of the issue along with preventive measures. Super professional and kind! 10/10 recommend!

When I signed up, I was told they would come monthly during the summer and every 3 months during the fall and winter. I signed up in June and they came that same day. I was charged for July and August and they never showed up. I called customer service and they told me they come something along 50-80 days. I was told MONTHLY. I asked for a refund for those 2 months (I was charged $78 each month) and to cancel my subscription and all they could do for me was get someone out next week and refund me $30.

I am not sure who’s giving this five star reviews. This is the worst pest control company in US. Whether it’s their NJ or PA location same thing. Now they have decent workers that go round knocking at peoples houses up to 10pm at night. They like their company will pester you untill you sign up or they won’t leave you alone. Now we signed up to make this person go away. Well here we are the worst service ever. We have more bugs than we did before. We signed up in June and they charged us for June and charged us for July and did not show up. I call of course to cancell this terrible service and they gave me a hard time and sneakily charged me $199 after I insisted on canceling. So did anyone thinking about this company DO NOT. Go and support your local mom and pop businesses. This one is not it. For everyone else who has them go ahead and cancell them. You will thank me later. Worst mistake I have made this year by far. Now I dare your little minions to come on here and call me a liar. Let’s go please do so I can post the statements and the call I recorded after waiting one hour on hold. You can see your little truck in my driveway. So let’s go if you wanna see more receipts.

Is Aptive pest control safe?
Aptive’s goal is to provide customers with professional and effective pest control solutions that reduce the harmful effects of pests. Why am I still seeing pests after my first treatment?
If you are seeing pests right after your treatment, odds are you are witnessing them flee your property, which typically means the treatment is effective. If after a week you are still seeing pests, give us a call and our service professional will gladly return to treat your home at no additional cost.
How much does professional pest control cost?
Our professional pest control plans start as low as $49 to $55 per month for our Basic plan, depending on your location. We offer three primary tiers—Basic, Pro, and Premium—designed to fit different levels of protection needs and budgets.
Do you offer same-day pest control services?
Yes, depending on current technician availability. If you call before noon, we can often provide same-day service for urgent pest issues.
How soon can a technician come out for an emergency?
We strive for 24 to 48-hour response times. For emergencies like a yellow jacket nest or indoor roach sightings, we prioritize your call in our daily schedule.
Do you spray both the inside and outside of the house?
Yes, standard service covers both. We focus on the exterior to stop pests at the source and treat the interior (baseboards/under sinks) to eliminate any that have already entered.
What areas are included in a "perimeter" treatment?
A perimeter treatment covers 3 feet up the foundation and 3 feet out into the yard. We also treat windowsills, door frames, and eaves.
How do I get rid of an ant infestation in my kitchen?
To stop ants, we use "transferable" baits. Workers carry the bait back to the queen, killing the entire colony rather than just the ants you see on the counter.
What is the best treatment for German cockroaches?
German roaches require a combination of baiting, insect growth regulators (IGRs), and sanitation. They are resilient, so 2–3 follow-up visits are often required for total elimination.
Is pest control safe for children and infants?
Yes, we prioritize family-safe applications. By focusing on the exterior and using low-toxicity indoor treatments, we minimize exposure. We recommend keeping children out of treated areas for 30–60 minutes until dry.
What is your "Pest-Free Guarantee"?
Our guarantee means if the pests return between scheduled visits, we return for free. We stay until the problem is solved.
Do you offer free re-treatments?
Yes, all of our recurring plans include unlimited free re-treatments for covered pests.
Why am I still seeing bugs after my first service?
This is the "flush out" period. The treatment is driving pests out of their hiding spots. They will die off shortly after coming into contact with the product.
Why is the pest problem getting worse?
This usually happens with ants and roaches as they are attracted to our baits. This "surge" is a sign that the colony is actively feeding on the treatment.
How can I tell if a treatment was successful?
Success is measured by a steady decrease in sightings and finding dead insects rather than live ones.
Do you guarantee 100% elimination?
We guarantee to control and manage populations to the point where they do not infest your living space. No one can stop every single bug from ever entering, but we ensure they don't stay.
