My husband and I stopped into the Pool City in Cranberry after visiting other stores in the Area. We are from the South Hills and had only stopped in to explore our options as far as purchasing an Above Ground pool for the Spring of 2027. Chuck assisted us and answered all of our questions. He provided a quote on exactly what we were looking for. My husband suggested I shop a few other places, which I did, and NO ONE came close to offering the package and quality of what we have purchased from Chuck at Pool City. We dealt with Pool City, a different location, in 1998 and had that pool until we purchased a Hot Tub in 2016. There was nothing wrong with that pool, our lives at the time were in a different direction. Now that we have young Grandchildren who love to swim, it's time for a pool again and if I could give Chuck more than 5 stars, I certainly would. It has been a great experience. Cranberry is about 40 minutes or so from where we live and I certainly am happy that we walked into that store and that Chuck spoke to us or I may not be getting my pool!! The communication has been exceptional, he responds promptly to emails and returns phone calls. He gave us time to make our decision and truly has gone above and beyond.

I wanted to wait to leave this review till my issue had a resolution but I am not sure it will at this point. I purchased a swim spa package from this store. I first put money down on it in December of 2025. I was told to put 10% down and pay the balance when delivery time was near. The order was delayed for me so I could get cement work done when the weather broke. I was told the order went in in March as the cement guys were pouring my slab then. About a month later I was notified that there was a change in corporate policy. Pool city requires you to pay in full up front before the order can even be placed. This should have been my first red flag. Mind you, I never asked for credit or a payment plan or any such thing. So my spa had not been ordered in all this time. When I took delivery in late May, I noticed when the man was cleaning the spa out that the cover was no where in sight. When I asked, he said oh yeah, it's on back order and Pool City knows about it. It didn't seem so when I contacted them. They fessed up and said it hadn't been ordered. Someone dropped the ball. So I keep covering this thing with a tarp...and another tarp and so on. The have ghosted me and sometime they just say that it will be here soon. Recently, I contacted End2End who makes the cover. I was told the cover was never ordered until July 17. So this is really not a hot tub without a cover. The water is 76 degrees and the outside temp has been about 78 degrees. It's really not usable. No word on when I can expect my cover. I have never been treated like this by any company. The worst.

At first our experience was great and the woman who sold the pool was nice. The issue is we were told that their private contractors would dig down (that is why we went with pool city and got the size that we were talked into). We were told the pool would be installed by Memorial Day as we were first on the list. We were told it would be about $600 for the drop fee and materials. Okay great. After over 2 months we finally get the contractor out who absolutely would not dig and charged us $840. Our pool isn’t going to be installed till June 23rd. 10k spent and we will be able to hopefully enjoy it for a month. Let’s not forget the pool has been in our driveway on a pallet for 2 months and about to fall over. Communication with pool city and the contractor have been nothing but issues. Phone tag galore if you can get ahold of anyone. Anytime I attempt to call pool city the phone just beeps. I definitely want some form of compensation because at this point I wish I made a better decision and went elsewhere with my money. This review won’t be deleted or recommended until I have some form of resolution because I’m over it.

We recently bought a pool from Chuck and couldn’t be happier with the experience! The entire process was seamless from start to finish. Communication was excellent the whole way through and he was responsive, helpful, and made everything so easy. Chuck was also just an awesome guy to work with. Highly recommend him to anyone looking for a stress-free experience!
