- RCRobert Mullen (Chip)5 days ago1.0Bought a $450 Japanese maple last year In March 2025. Not sure when the tree died but when no leaves appeared this spring I went in to talk about it. I was just past the one year window. I would understand if you can’t give full refund, but the assistant store manager acted like it was completely out of his control and nothing he could do on the computer. He was not rude, and seemed like a nice guy, but did not look like he had a grasp of how the computer worked as he had to get someone else to help a return for the person before me. He did not seem to care when I asked if he understood that I would no longer be shopping here.

She may have been annoyed because it was close to closing time but why not just get us out of there quicker by actually doing the scanning for us? I used to be a cashier.. But Why do I have be a cashier when I go shopping now? My thoughts while I was checking out my almost $400 order. " We are spending all this money and Im getting stared at while I attempt to be a cashier and argue with my kids because we were all exhausted.. this is so dumb!" My husband says we're only going to Home Depot now...

These charges are likely authorization holds that are placed throughout the life cycle of your order to ensure the funds are reserved for your purchase. As items from your order ship, your payment is charged and the authorization is no longer held by Lowe’s.
