Extremely disappointed with the service.
My hot tub’s control board and heater failed. Normally, this is something I would have fixed myself, but I’ve been so busy that my wife called to schedule a repair so we could get it fixed in a reasonable amount of time. We were required to pay $200 up front just to get on the schedule. After that, it took nearly two weeks for anyone to call us back, and the first available appointment wasn’t for another month.
When scheduling the appointment, I specifically provided the exact hot tub model along with the control board and heater part numbers that needed to be replaced. I made it very clear what the issue was and what parts were required.
Fast forward a month, and the technician finally arrives. After a brief inspection, he tells me the control board and heater need to be replaced and that they don’t stock those parts. He explained that they would need to order them and then contact me again to schedule another appointment once they arrived.
I explained that I had already provided that information, including the part numbers, when the appointment was scheduled and expected the parts would have been ordered ahead of time. The technician told me those notes are rarely passed along to the service department.
So after paying $200 up front, waiting two weeks for a callback, waiting another month for an appointment, and taking time out of my day for the service visit, I’m essentially back where I started and now being told it will likely be several more weeks before the repair can actually be completed. At this point, I could have ordered the parts and completed the repair myself in less time.
The technician himself was polite and professional, but the scheduling, communication, and overall process have been incredibly frustrating and inefficient. If you’re charging customers up front and scheduling appointments months out, there needs to be much better communication between the office and the service department.

I have been trying to go there for all my pool needs but this last time of purchase really made me look at alternatives. They offer a gift card half price every Black Friday with purchasing said gift card you really only get to use it on less than half the store very disappointing. As for my recent experience with their so called deals I I went for 1 but it ended up costing me more in the end due them not having said deal items in stock….this was a week after Memorial Day??? And offered nothing in its place like I said in the beginning I will shop elsewhere or online seem to get better savings and always in stock.

Went to open pool today and pump waa locked up on our Hayward DE filter. Was getting old so decided to buy a new one. Priced online then called Charleroi Valley Pools. Jerry is the best mgr..had 1 in stock, we went and picked it up and btw..over $200 less than any online price.
