I recently visited the store with my mother, who is redoing her living room. We eventually found what she was looking for at this store, but there are definitely up sides and down sides to my experience. First. The furniture in the store is UGLY! I wanted to leave until the salesman explained that everything must be ordered and we would get to choose the fabric our sofas would have. He wouldn't say it, but I think he knew exactly what I was feeling. Don't expect to find accessories or rugs here. They have all been sitting there for 10-25 years! I saw a lamp my parents had when I was growing up in the 80's, being sold for over $300! When you get past the ugly and outdated store, however, there are REALLY NICE things you can do. We picked a sofa that she loved, even if she didn't like the covering. She got to choose fabric, throw pillows, trim, and wood color. The salesman looked younger than me, but he knew my mother's style and made cool suggestions without pushing her. In the end, we got the whole living room set, and zero accessories. THomasville, please update your store!
