  Well, to start the Exterminator man was very polite and respectful of my home by putting coverage over his feet and came in and did what he had to do asked me a few questions about what was what was my main focus of where were the roaches and things that like of that nature and he took care of his business

  The techs themselves are great, but the account managers lie. They previously signed me up for a contract I never asked for, and their documentation and pricing are all over the place. They quoted me one price for a one‑off service (a wasp nest on my tree), then sent a document with a lower price — but still charged me about $100 more. When I questioned it, they claimed it was a “promo” they were trying to retract from the document. We ended up late to our event because of this mess. Will never use again.

  Aptive is a horrible company. They came door to door in our neighborhood and lied do myself and my neighbors about the terms of the contracts- saying it was for 1 year, but it was really for 2. The service itself was also not good. We had the “premium” plan and had to have them come multiple times in a month to get the ants under control. They also tried to come twice in multiple months for the standard service which would mean we’d be charged twice. We had to call and have them move those visits into the following month. Each time they arrived they asked us in detail what needed to be done. We worked with a different pest control company before that asked us what pests we were seeing and handled everything from there. That company also only came out once and the ants were gone. We stopped using that company to switch to a company that came more often and would treat for more pests, but Aptive isn’t it. They are shady and when you call them to express your concerns they are rude and will yell at you. Do yourself a favor and do not use them. If they come to your door, don’t answer.
