Recently purchased an Electric Dryer. John the Appliance salesperson was fantastic! From entrance of store,purchase then to the car to load, may have taken 12 minutes. Hellava guy John is and hope this gentleman receives a raise. I tried to give him money but refused to accept it. Only reason I gave 3 Stars was this gentleman is his 60's and there were at least 3 younger men that were in the area that could've helped us load. Besides that,....Great experience. Thanks John.

The customer service desk employees are miserable and rude. They ignore you when you approach the desk and then don’t speak when you ask for help. This afternoon the woman at the desk walked away half way through our exchange to answer her walkie talkie, and left me standing there. I had to turn to the other worker and ask what’s going on, before she then finished the transaction and still did not speak to me the whole time? It was so weird and uncomfortable. They’re never very friendly but we have had so many bad experiences at this store that we are done shopping at Lowe’s.

I consistently have problems with this Lowe’s location, and today was another example of how poorly this store is managed.
I placed a large online order and received an email around 8:00 AM saying the order was ready for pickup. When I arrived, the store could not get organized or communicate clearly about where my order was or when it would actually be brought out. I had to go to the customer service desk three separate times just to try to get a straight answer.
I ended up waiting over an hour for an order that was supposedly ready. During that time, I was told different things by different people, and I could hear staff over the walkie-talkies claiming I was “hanging up on them,” which was completely untrue. Instead of anyone taking ownership of the issue, it felt like the employees were just passing confusion back and forth while I stood there waiting.
Eventually, I was told I had to keep waiting because someone had to come back from lunch and get wood off a pallet. That makes no sense to me when Lowe’s had already emailed me that the order was ready.
The problem is not just the wait. The problem is the lack of communication, the lack of accountability, and the fact that no one seemed to know what was going on. This store repeatedly turns simple pickup orders into a frustrating mess.
I use Lowe’s often, but the Belle Vernon location is consistently a problem. Today was unacceptable, and I would not recommend relying on this store for online pickup if you actually need your order ready when they say it is.

These charges are likely authorization holds that are placed throughout the life cycle of your order to ensure the funds are reserved for your purchase. When you place an order, your payment method is authorized for the full amount of the purchase. As items from your order ship, your payment is charged and the authorization is no longer held by Lowe’s. Orders shipped in multiple shipments will be charged separately at time of shipment; therefore, you may see multiple charges, but they'll never exceed the full amount of your order.
