- CHCarol HooverSep 10, 20265.0Lin was a delight to do business with. Her and her husband were prompt and efficient. Very friendly people and they do beautiful work!
- AMAllison MitchellAug 21, 20265.0Lin's Touch of Elegance was everything we could have hoped for. We had a living room set and an end table set that we loved but that had been battered with time and use. Lin was able to repair and beautifully refinish our furniture, breathing new life into it and letting us keep the style we preferred. We were kept informed about the work progress and any issues that she found. She was also able to pick up and drop off the furniture. The work and convenience was top notch and worth every penny. Pictures of the end tables included, about 3 layers of paint stipped to reveal beautiful wood!

- JSJocelyn SeitzerJun 26, 20265.0Perfect! The quality of this restoration is amazing! My rocker, which was purchased for my great grandmother to rock my pappy, was in need of some serious love as it is well over 100 years old. Generations have been rocked in this chair. Kind, friendly, professional and most importantly, knowledgeable, the fine folks at Lin's were able to restore the wood, and replace the woven cane seat, which was time consuming. I'm absolutely blown away with the quality of their work. If you want quality work for a fair price, go to Lin's. You won't be disappointed.

Frequently Asked Questions About Lin's Touch of Elegance
What types of furniture do you restore?
We work with a diverse selection of furniture including antique and contemporary pieces, wooden furniture, upholstered furnishings, and specialized items such as cabinets, dressers, tables, and chairs.
What is furniture restoration vs. refinishing?
Restoration concentrates on maintaining the original character of the piece while addressing any damage, whereas refinishing generally involves removing the existing finish and applying a new one to update the appearance.
Is my furniture worth restoring?
In most situations, it is. Factors such as sentimental value, superior craftsmanship, and antique designation frequently make restoration a valuable investment. We can evaluate your furniture and offer our professional assessment.
How long does the restoration process take?
The duration depends on the condition of the piece and the scope of work required. Most projects are completed within 2 to 3 weeks.
Do you match existing finishes or colors?
Yes, we have expertise in custom color and finish matching to achieve a seamless appearance.
How much does furniture restoration cost?
Pricing depends on the size of the piece, its current condition, and the extent of work needed. We supply comprehensive estimates following an evaluation of your furniture.
Do you offer free estimates?
Yes, we provide complimentary consultations and estimates, typically based on photographs or an in-person assessment.
Is restoration cheaper than buying new furniture?
In many cases it is, particularly for high-quality or solid wood pieces. Restoration also enables you to preserve a unique or sentimental item.
How should I care for my restored furniture?
We advise keeping furniture away from direct sunlight, using appropriate cleaning products, and maintaining a stable environment to prevent damage.
How long will the restoration last?
When properly maintained, restored furniture can endure for decades and often outlasts new mass-produced furniture.
