  If I could give zero stars I would.. If you are a contractor or Pro customer, I would strongly recommend avoiding the Lowe’s on Turner Road in Salem, Oregon. My husband has been working on a project in Salem for the past four months and has been shopping at this location regularly since May. Unfortunately, his experience with the Pro Desk has been consistently terrible. On multiple occasions, he has stood at the Pro Desk waiting for assistance while employees ignored or dismissed him. After the first several incidents, he attempted to bring his concerns to store management, only to be dismissed there as well. Eventually, the situation became bad enough that I filed a complaint with Lowe’s corporate. That resulted in a call from an in-store manager, but unfortunately nothing changed. Today was the final straw. My husband approached the Pro Desk because he needed assistance with a special-order item for the project. The Pro working behind the computer never looked up or made eye contact, but told him he would be right with him. My husband waited patiently for several minutes. When the employee finally acknowledged him, he asked what he wanted. My husband said he wanted to “cash out,” meaning he was ready to check out. The employee responded that he didn’t accept cash and pointed him toward the regular registers. My husband clarified that he wasn't paying with cash and explained that he was a Pro customer and needed assistance from the Pro Desk. Instead of helping him, the employee again directed him elsewhere and then told him he would help the other customers waiting before helping my husband. What exactly is the purpose of a Pro Desk if contractors cannot get assistance from it? Contractors are trying to keep jobs moving. We aren't coming to the Pro Desk because we expect special treatment—we use it because Lowe’s specifically provides and markets Pro services to support professionals who are purchasing materials, placing special orders, managing jobs, and trying to get back to work. After months of the same treatment and multiple unsuccessful attempts to address it with management, my husband finally had enough today, left his items and went to Home Depot instead. Following the incident, my husband spoke directly with Luis Lopez, who identified himself as the Pro Desk Manager. He explained what had happened and the ongoing issues he has experienced with the Pro Desk since May. Unfortunately, he found that conversation just as dismissive as our previous attempts to bring these concerns to management. After four months of repeated problems, being dismissed yet again by the person responsible for managing the Pro Desk was incredibly disappointing. We have both commercial and personal credit accounts with Lowe’s and have had wonderful experiences at other Lowe’s locations—particularly the McMinnville store. This review is not about Lowe’s as a whole. It is specifically about the repeated lack of customer service and management response at the Turner Road location in Salem. Four months of the same problem is not a bad day or an isolated interaction. It is a pattern. We will not be shopping at this location again.

  This has become my most loved physical store now that I have a house. It's got everything a homeowner needs and then some.. its got great quality tools and materials for any type of job out there, not to mention gardening..

  Very Disappointing Experience With Garden Seeds I’m extremely disappointed with my experience at Lowe’s while starting my first garden at home. I purchased several seed packets from your store expecting the products to be accurately labeled and true to what was advertised. First, I purchased a packet of strawberry seeds, but what actually grew appeared to be carrot. I also purchased two packets of cantaloupe seeds back in February. I planted them and waited patiently, but they weren’t developing like cantaloupe plants should. After watching them grow, I just found out today that they appear to be round lemon cucumbers instead of cantaloupe. I understand that gardening can sometimes be unpredictable, but having multiple seed packets that appear to contain completely different plants than what is printed on the packaging is extremely frustrating—especially when I spent the time, money, and effort trying to start my first garden. I would like to know what Lowe’s is going to do to make this right. At minimum, I believe I should be reimbursed for the incorrect seeds, but I would also appreciate someone looking into the quality-control issue with these seed packets so other customers don’t have the same experience. I really wanted my first gardening experience to be a positive one, but unfortunately, this has been very disappointing.

  It would have been great but I was followed the whole time by security and they made me pay at the customer service desk where the manager and 2 other employees just happened to be. I've never done anything to this establishment to warrant any of this profiling. I have always paid with cash so being followed the whole time and made to pay somewhere else then a regular customer would felt a lot like discrimination.
