We visited yesterday for the first time and I was really surprised at the variety of selection in multiple departments. We came in search of a shadow box but of course wanted to look around at what they had to offer. I was thrilled at the large holiday aisles. There are multiple fall, and winter sections set up with samples of Christmas decor already. My favorite part were the clearance sections. Not just one, but small clearance shelves in multiple departments! We found a classic shadow box to our liking easily, and an adorable stain glass door ornament. If you find something you like but it’s not in your budget, TRUST that you will find something that is; it’s like digging for treasure! I can’t wait for a sale or a new promotion to go back.

After asking an employee for help, I spent a few minutes comparing different bracelet clasp sizes in one aisle. During that time, it became glaringly obvious and IMPOSSIBLE to overlook the large man dressed entirely in black repeatedly walking past me every few seconds before stopping at a nearby mid-aisle display directly across from me. He pretended to fiddle with merchandise while staring directly at me, the entire time. His behavior was unwarranted, inappropriate and uncomfortable. I am a small young woman. I shouldn't have to be looking over my shoulder at a CRAFT STORE. I’m also a small business owner who spends a significant amount of money at this store. I bring my sisters, nieces, nephews, and grandmother here regularly. I’ve always enjoyed shopping here, which is why this experience was not only disappointing, but UNACCEPTABLE. I understand that loss prevention is part of retail, but if you have the job title, than you should know how to spot the difference. Being made to feel like I was under surveillance without cause crossed the line from attentive service into harassment. I hope management addresses this and provides better training so other customers don’t have a similar experience.
