I also appreciate how easy it is to request a technician if you have a gas fireplace or other gas appliances and want to make sure everything is operating properly. Overall, I’ve had a positive experience with NW Natural.
- DSDave SteeleSep 10, 20261.0as usual, I would say that I would give zero stars if it was possible The person that answered the phone call today was extremely rude and did not want to answer any questions and had a very short attention span, and there was no help at all I appreciated that someone that spoke. English answered the phone so you could understand, but the person was extremely rude.

They did some repairs to a main and told us in a text that a boil water notice is in effect once water is back on. Day two of the boil notice and I call to ask them what possible contamination could be in the water, their response was “it’s just a precaution”. No further explanation about what kind of hazard is present and said “it takes 48-72 hours for water test results to be processed, an absolute joke. Poorly run company and ineffective customer service.

Said they need to enter home to restart and gave me a window of 8am- midnight for a technician to show up. Working mother of 2 young kids and life completely put on hold with no reasonable warning by gas company. Cant cook or leave home until someone arrives... and im told a midnight arrival is possible?!
