  This has been a wonderful place for storage. Ending my 7 years of association as I was involved in several different storage units from the 3rd floor to the basement. Jesse, Linda, Emily and the crew have always been available to assist me as well as maintain a great facility. Great security and I always am welcomed with friendly efficient service. Down to earth and as they in this case “good people”.

  Saying goodbye to Jesse and the staff at Downtown Self Storage on Johnson St. after ten years was tough. It took a decade but all I own is now in my apartment. I rented small, medium and large units, sometimes several at once, sometimes moving between floors. This wonderful staff helped me navigate the changes in my life...two major household moves, the death of a loved one, the end of a teaching career with supplies and equipment to stash, decades of memories and household treasures still needing a home. I was always greeted with kindness and professionalism. The facility is maintained flawlessly, always clean, warm enough and secure. As my decade of downsizing progressed I finally asked, What do you have for under $100? That helped me decide what would stay for the final sort. I used to joke that I was 'job security' for the staff. I'm out. Please look no further. The stuff you have to store, retrieve and organize is managed perfectly at Downtown Self Storage.

  Jesse and Linda and the others are so attentive, friendly and communicative. Excellent security at the building and clean as well. Overall, if you have to store stuff this is the place!

  Great location with a welcoming downtown feel. The rates are more reasonable than most of the larger corporate storage chains, and the atmosphere feels more personal and community-oriented. You’re treated with respect here — not like just another unit number — which makes a big difference when you’re trusting a place with your belongings. I would absolutely recommend this storage facility to anyone looking for value and a more hometown experience. — JC Powers
