I could not be happier with the results! We had the carpet on our staircase replaced at a very reasonable price. We purchased both the carpet (from Mark) and installation (installed by Merced) through Lowe’s, and the customer service was excellent throughout the entire process. The installation took only a few hours, and the installers brought the new carpet and hauled away the old one. Below are the before-and-after photos. Now that we know how affordable and easy it is to have carpet replaced, we won’t wait so long the next time we need new carpet! Total cost for everything was $710.

Installed dented/scratched brand new 629.00 microwave. He didn't cover my range, left a mess, didn't have a vacuum, and stood on a dining room chair a couple of times. So unprofessional and will never shop there again. Give me a $50 refund on a brand new microwave that's scratched and dented???? Get your guy another hand so he doesnt damage microwaves lifting by himself, get him the proper tools he needs so this doesn't happen again! I also have video of him driving right through thw stop sign on the corner leaving my house. Lamest LOWES experience ever!

I needed a smaller 5-7sf chest freezer under $200 for a rental I manage. An in-store display has a 6.9sf Hotpoint on sale for $189. It takes me a while to track down an employee who says she does not have any left. I am fine taking the floor model. She tells me she can't sell that one but has another floor model in store but in a different display. I just want a freezer. Employee calls her the manager who won't let her sell either. There are none at any nearby stores nor are there any in the Salem area where the rental is located. Also, because (apparently) it is on clearance, I cant order one to be picked up in Portland or Salem.
In sum, I walked in, saw a freezer I liked at a decent price, the store had not one but two of them on display. Employee couldn't sell either of them - in any way. Frustrated, I walked to my truck, pushed a few buttons and had an off brand unit delivered to the site the next day via Amazon for $10 less.

I viewed an online moving kit and came in store to purchase, I asked one guy to help me out and he had no idea how it worked but did his best to help me...he helped me load each thing on the cart individually, I came to check out and asked the lady to help me scan each thing (54 items) she looked at me like I was from space. I decided to ask her if there was an easy way to do this but she also had no idea what I was talking about and took my phone to show another lady. This new lady walks over and very rudely tells me that this kit can only be purchased online and I cant just scan each thing individually. She proceeded to answer rudely to all my questions while the other lady stood there glaring....So I left with nothing...Not sure what happened but customer service was just awful.

This Lowe's is swarming with door to door sales people trying to sell you solar panels, gutters, etc. We were approached by THREE different sales people wearing blue vests asking if we needed help finding anything. When we asked them a question about where things were on the store, they just googled it, didn't know the answer, and started into some BS "low pressure" sales pitch for their scammy high-margin product. It's a shame you cant even shop anymore without being accosted by someone who looks just like a helpful Lowe's employee but is actually a salesperson. Shame on you Lowe's. Don't allow this.
