I really don't want to think it's a "ist" thing, but I always feel so deeply unwelcome the 3 or 4 times I've been to this Lowe's. Like I'm being a burden for asking a question, or like I'm maybe catching yall on a bad day. But I see and hear other people get great service. Idk, I'm just going out of my way to go to the south salem one next time. I just feel self conscious and rejected here as soon as I try to ask an employee for help, I really don't want to belive it's because of my race or anything like that because I don't want to belive people like that live in my hometown

Not great. Came early to look at carpet about 730 am. No one was at the flooring help desk so I went to the registers. Nice lady there who I asked for help. She noticed a co worker and flagged him down. Not looking at us, he merely grumbled that he wasn't working yet. Ok, I can understand that. She tried to use her comms device to get the manager a couple times and she said that he wasn't available or not answering through it. Then she notices the manager walking by and flags him down. The manager and I walk to the carpet I am interested in and I say my carpet installer says I need X amount of square yards. And he says we only sell in linear feet. We have a very odd and uncomfortable conversation because we don't know how to convert what I need into linear feet. I finally say do you know when your flooring guy will be here? He says 10 am (2 hours from now). Sensing my frustation and getting no where, he asks is there anything else I can help you with? I say no thank you and he leaves. I turn around and start to leave when I notice that there is the flooring employee, starting up his day. TLDR: poor staff skills in front of customers, poor managerial engagement (at best he didn't know what was going on, and at worst he just lied to me to get me off his back.)

I had a terrible experience at Lowe’s last week. I am pregnant and had my 1-year-old with me, and I needed eight boxes of tile. There were only three boxes on the shelf, so I asked an employee whether more were available at another Lowe’s. I was told that this store actually had more in stock and that someone could help me within five to seven minutes. This was around 10:35 a.m.
I waited near the front while an employee contacted Noah, who was supposed to check the back stock. I ended up waiting for approximately one hour. During that time, I was told that four boxes had been found, but that they were still looking for one more box on a pallet. I expressed my frustration several times and explained that I had not expected to wait this long, especially while pregnant and caring for a 1-year-old.
Eventually, I said to forget about the final box and asked them to bring out the four they had already found because I could go to another Lowe’s for the remaining box. After waiting all that time, the boxes they brought out were not even the correct tile.
I called the manager and explained the situation. He never apologized for the inconvenience. While I was on hold for about five minutes, he was able to locate the correct tile. He explained that the tile department was being redone and that everything was on pallets. However, it did not take him an hour to find it, and he still never acknowledged or apologized for how poorly the situation had been handled.
I am extremely disappointed with this visit. Making a pregnant customer with a small child wait an hour, only to bring out the wrong product, was unacceptable and unprofessional. The lack of communication, urgency, and basic customer service from Noah and management made the experience even worse.
