  Whether you’re getting a custom frame, custom mat, or just help choosing, only see Julia. No one else understands whats going on in that department except for her. My first experience getting a custom frame was not the greatest… The person seemed to not know anything, had no input, it felt helpless and ended up going to another custom frame shop. However, my husband and I tried again with some cheaper pieces after a vacation and she was AMAZING to work with. So - I came back the next week for more! I was worried as she was busy with another customer, but I was willing to wait. I even had a “co-manager” help me, but he also didn’t know much, and wasn’t working with me. He told me they only had certain mats, and wouldn’t even check. He wasn’t helping or engaging. Julia became available, and she went in the back for me - and guess what!! The mat was available! I was over the MOON because I wasn’t liking the limited options he gave me, and I didn’t have time to order it (I’m moving this weekend). Julia is the best, and I highly recommend her if you’re needing help or guidance framing!!! She goes above and beyond for us whenever we work with her. She always loves to chat about the art/photos/etc and makes the experience enjoyable.

  Julia in the framing department helped my wife and I out with a few art prints and taught me about some cool framing tools that I will be able to make good use of in the future. It was really nice to gain some additional knowledge about the craft.

  I'm in this Hobby Lobby 2-4 times per month buying models to build, but unrightfully being labeled a thief has put me off from shopping here. I went in to check out the models today, didn't see anything that I wanted, then realized I needed to pick up some picture frames so I may as well take a look. I wear a backpack because I commute by bicycle and wouldn't be able to carry home my purchases if I didn't have it. As soon as I walked into the picture frame area a worker's eyes locked on me. She skipped past everyone else in the section to ask me if I needed help finding anything. I told her I was just browsing looking for some picture frame sizes, she got right up in my face and said "what size?" I told her one of the sizes (I've got a shopping list with like 7 different sizes I need). She walks me over to the size I asked then just stood uncomfortably close to me while I'm looking at frames, so I told her "thanks, I need to look at my options before making a decision" implying "back up, you're all in my business", and she responds by saying "just gotta keep an eye on that backpack". I told her "don't worry, I'll be careful to not knock anything over *uncomfortable chuckle*", and she continued to stand uncomfortably close just staring at me. Then I jokingly said "that is unless you're implying that I'm trying to steal something" and she responded very seriously "can't be too careful these days" and continued to stand 6 inches away from me glaring. They had the frames I wanted at a good price, but as soon as the worker said she thought I was there to steal stuff I gave up on looking and left without buying anything (and don't plan on going back).

  Ridiculously slow lines. Currently standing in line 10 minutes and counting. It’s like this every time I come here (which is not often because I don’t tend to want to wait in a long line when trying to run what should be a quick errand). Seems like if they used barcodes instead of having employees manually type in each item code and each item discount, that would make quite a difference…

  We have had nothing but positive experiences with this staff she has went above and beyond, always asking about my wife’s projects and offering to check the back when stocking the shelf’s, complementing and hyping her for future projects, thank you Dina for always making it easy picking yarn and fabric!! One night we even stayed close and she cut 5 different fabrics and never gave us any hassle, thank you for customer service and positive vibes!! We will be back soon!
