- RLRebecca Louise4 days ago1.0I have always loved Hobby lobby, but it seems that customer Service is lacking and so many stores. I just never thought that it would be at Hobby lobby. I purchased a lot of spring items that were on sale and because their system doesn’t just scan things and it tells you what it is it only goes by the price when I returned something that didn’t have the sticker on it because the sticker was never on it when I purchased it. They tried to tell me that I was out of luck and couldn’t return the item cause they couldn’t find it online. I had other things that returned just fine, and so I accepted it and walked away and went and searched on my phone and found it immediately. It was like the third thing that showed up on the spring planters although it said no longer in stock, it showed the picture of the item and I was able to get the refund which they tried to give me that discounted price without a receipt even though I had my card for them to look up on the receipt, I had to advocate for myself. They were not working to do what was right by the customer. When they were pulling up my receipts, they could see that I had over $800 in purchases over the 6 weeks and they were squabbling over an eight dollar item that was being returned because they couldn’t figure out how to find it in their own system. I am very upset that this is how Hobby lobby chose to handle a return when they could clearly see the amount of purchases that I made and the one eight dollar item that I was returning along with the other $23 so $31 total of returns out of $800 plus. If I come back, I will definitely be avoiding Hobby lobby and shopping other places first. For a company that boasts about being Christian that is not the Christian way to handle customer Service. I did let them know that I was unhappy (rightfully so in my opinion), but I was not rude or demanding so there was literally no reason for them to treat me that way.

This is a three chest set of unfinished wooden boxes. They're selling it online for $22 and change. In this Hobby lobby, they broke this set up into three different SKUs selling them for $34 then $33 then $32 apiece. This is unacceptable. I will not be back to this location.
