I do a lot of business with Lowe’s. Enough we have became managed by Lowe’s corporate account.
Sunday august 16th 2026 I came into the store to get some stuff for the next work week. Needed a few tools and material. Found a deal they had online so I called into the store to see if they had it before going and was told I needed to speak to A manager that goes by D in charge of the pro department.
Once I got to the store I got everything I needed and was saving that tool for last. I went to the tool department where Kenny and another associate were leaning against the shelving talking. I said good afternoon I was looking to find a tool y’all have listed in online and was told to speak with someone over the pro department. “Kenny replied is it an online only tool?” In which I replied I did not know. He then said no one from pro is in the store won’t be here till Monday. I told him I was told today to come and speak with someone after 2pm. I then mentioned I have a construction company that is a managed account and just trying to get some help. He then replies out of nowhere “We have companies who spend 200k per week here. It doesn’t make any difference to me. What tool do you want.” I asked him why he was speaking to me in this way. Then asked for a manager. Manager comes and guess who…. D the one in who is over the pro department. I spoke to him and multiple more employees and I guess this is a regular thing to speak down to customers. They get complaints all the time from pros about him. His fellow employees said in fact he hates pros because they get deals he doesn’t believe they should get. I was looking for no “deal” just something they had listed on the app. My business won’t be going back to Shawnee Lowe’s until this guy Kenny is removed.
Ps. From my understanding other employees have been trying to get him removed from the store based on how he treats customers. No idea why Lowe’s would allow this.

If you like being followed around a store and made to feel like you’re being watched this is the store to go to! They don’t try and hide the fact they are watching you! Every aisle I went down there was magically an employee looking into my cart! When I was checking out the employee was literally standing next to my cart to ensure I paid for everything! It’s sad when a paying customer can’t walk into a store without feeling as if they are on trial for something they didn’t do!

I ordered items that had to be picked up in the lumber yard out back. My experience was "eh" all the way up to loading the items. Gavin was the only soul in sight back there and I expected the pickup to continue like the rest of the visit. But he had a great attitude and, despite being by himself in the whole back area,he was holding it down like a boss. He greatly improved my experience today.
