I’m on here leaving a review for my elderly grandparents. They special ordered carpet through Lowe’s and paid to have it laid in the house. Lowe’s has third-party contractors who lay the carpet they had Midwest flooring installation contracted to come lay it. The reviews for that company are horrible. They have less than 600 reviews is the only reason they have a 4.4 scoring any reviews within the last two years state that the company is horrible at their job and leave an awful mess afterwards with Lowe’s still hiring this company to do the work to no surprise the company called my grandparents at 7 AM on their scheduled day to cancel because of some rain. My grandfather told them that he really needed them out today because they are elderly and had to have the army of their grandkids come out and help get the house prepped and ready. The company said that they would wait for the rain to stop and then come out the rain stopped within about 45 minutes, so my grandfather called them back and they said that they were already at another house laying carpet if it was too wet to lay carpet in my grandparents house then how is it not too wet to lay it anywhere else when all of Oklahoma has Received rain the guy said that he will have another company come pick up the carpet to come lay it. My grandfather called Lowe’s to talk to them about this. Lowe’s had no idea what was going on and had told him that They have pretty much washed their hands of the situation and it was on the third contractors at this point they have spent lots of money on the special ordered carpet and at this point don’t even know if they’re gonna get it and Lowe’s has told them since it is a special ordered carpet they cannot get their refund back. Never order any kind of flooring from Lowe’s and expect them to lay it. It will be an absolute nightmare if you want new flooring buy it from a small business and lay it yourselves. You’ll have much better luck that way Lowe’s is a money hungry company who does not care about their customers at all. We are currently looking up a way to sue this company.

Dozens of workers not working. It'll take you an hour to get an associate over to the tools if you ever want to buy one that's locked up. Doesn't matter if you go to the front and ask somebody to send someone or to help you, wait time is the same and nobody cares about their job there.

Today I needed 4 bags of concrete mix, & 4 2x4x10' pressure treated so when I pulled into the back where most of the lumber is, and where the pressure treated lumber is under the awning immediately there were 3 yard hands ready to load me up, so they asked me what i was needing and they went & pulled what I asked for, all i had to do was go inside and pay for my order, then go get load checked out and headed for home, Excellent service!!!

After communication stopped from LOWES HOME IMPROVEMENT about a manufacturers warranty on a storm door for my elderly mother, from a job that took LOWES 7 months to finish after paying for, I once again have had to file a complaint with Better Business Bureau. It seems LOWES HOME IMPROVEMENT just doesn’t care about their customers. I highly suggest NOT using LOWES HOME IMPROVEMENT stores to have anything installed.
*UPDATE*. The door has been replaced, with no issues. Other than Lowe’s stopped communicating and having to file a BBB report, there was no issues and it was done somewhat timely. Mrs. Parker at corporate was very helpful and nice to work with.
