I was under the impression I was paying for a full interior and exterior treatment, including a two-acre perimeter spray. Instead, the technician arrived much earlier than expected, never notified anyone they were on the property, and didn’t enter either of the two homes or any of the sheds even though that was discussed when I signed up.
The technician showed up with nothing more than a backpack sprayer to treat a two-acre perimeter, which immediately raised concerns about whether the service was actually being completed as advertised. When I called to address my concerns, I was told that I should remind the technician that my service also included interior treatment. I’m sorry, but if I’m paying for a professional service, I shouldn’t have to remind your employees what my package includes in order for the job to be done correctly. And let’s not forget the finishing touch my windows were sprayed directly, leaving streaks all over the glass, rather than treating the window frames or eaves as any competent exterior application should. Overall, this experience felt rushed, unprofessional, and nowhere near the service that was promised. I expected expertise and attention to detail not to supervise the work myself. Gave a singular because at least they showed up.

Person arrived on time and completed his work in a timely fashion. He provided pictures of the areas he treated. Looking forward to seeing successful results within the next few weeks.

My experience with Aptive Pest control has not been the best, they failed to provide the service they promised and when I contacted their customer service center I was transferred to an overseas call center. The agent in the call center had no customer service skills and wanted to argue with the me about processes that he had no information on, talk about a company with no centralized control, this equates to a horrible customer service and experience. Bottom line they charged me a cancelation fee for services they did not provide, seems like a scam to me so beware!

Great first experience. I signed up and they were out the next day. The technician was helpful and thorough. I received a text with pictures of the treated area after he was finished.

Salesman sold my brother on switching services and charged his card after setting up an appointment, told my brother he charged too much and needed to send some money back (dont understand how you accidentally charge too much on a set price service but okay..) so my brother had them send it to my venmo account. But before I knew all that when the salesman tried to sell me on the service he told me he was giving my bro half off the first service. (If you're confused by all this dont feel bad.. WE ARE TOO!) The salesman seemed sooooo nervous the entire time, couldn't look me in the eye at all. The guy who does the actual service showed up this morning and tried to explain how sometimes the salesman will give people money to help them buy into the service and that the company never collected the original payment and that he needed to use that money to pay for the service. My brothers card was charged $100+ yesterday which according to the salesman was too much and he send back $59 .. Sounds like some elaborate scam or embezzlement scheme... My brother told them he no longer wanted the service so the guy just hopped in his truck and left.. didn't try and convince my brother to stay with the service or try to figure anything out.. which makes it seem even more suspicious that he just up and left with no explanation or anything. Original sales guy is supposed to come back around 2 today.. if he shows up we will get to the bottom of it...

Why am I still seeing pests after my first treatment?
If you are seeing pests right after your treatment, odds are you are witnessing them flee your property, which typically means the treatment is effective. If after a week you are still seeing pests, give us a call and our service professional will gladly return to treat your home at no additional cost.
How much does professional pest control cost?
Our professional pest control plans start as low as $49 to $55 per month for our Basic plan, depending on your location. We offer three primary tiers—Basic, Pro, and Premium—designed to fit different levels of protection needs and budgets.
Do you offer same-day pest control services?
Yes, depending on current technician availability. If you call before noon, we can often provide same-day service for urgent pest issues.
How soon can a technician come out for an emergency?
We strive for 24 to 48-hour response times. For emergencies like a yellow jacket nest or indoor roach sightings, we prioritize your call in our daily schedule.
Do you spray both the inside and outside of the house?
Yes, standard service covers both. We focus on the exterior to stop pests at the source and treat the interior (baseboards/under sinks) to eliminate any that have already entered.
What areas are included in a "perimeter" treatment?
A perimeter treatment covers 3 feet up the foundation and 3 feet out into the yard. We also treat windowsills, door frames, and eaves.
How do I get rid of an ant infestation in my kitchen?
To stop ants, we use "transferable" baits. Workers carry the bait back to the queen, killing the entire colony rather than just the ants you see on the counter.
What is the best treatment for German cockroaches?
German roaches require a combination of baiting, insect growth regulators (IGRs), and sanitation. They are resilient, so 2–3 follow-up visits are often required for total elimination.
Is pest control safe for children and infants?
Yes, we prioritize family-safe applications. By focusing on the exterior and using low-toxicity indoor treatments, we minimize exposure. We recommend keeping children out of treated areas for 30–60 minutes until dry.
What is your "Pest-Free Guarantee"?
Our guarantee means if the pests return between scheduled visits, we return for free. We stay until the problem is solved.
Do you offer free re-treatments?
Yes, all of our recurring plans include unlimited free re-treatments for covered pests.
Why am I still seeing bugs after my first service?
This is the "flush out" period. The treatment is driving pests out of their hiding spots. They will die off shortly after coming into contact with the product.
Why is the pest problem getting worse?
This usually happens with ants and roaches as they are attracted to our baits. This "surge" is a sign that the colony is actively feeding on the treatment.
How can I tell if a treatment was successful?
Success is measured by a steady decrease in sightings and finding dead insects rather than live ones.
Do you guarantee 100% elimination?
We guarantee to control and manage populations to the point where they do not infest your living space. No one can stop every single bug from ever entering, but we ensure they don't stay.
