    I contacted the local Lowes about getting an exterior door replaced. Cale came out to do some measuring and gave a quote. I have an already installed metal security door on the exterior frame. At first, Cale said thst the security door wouldn't be an issue. A 2nd person then came out to do the physical measurements and said thst they would have to cut the security door off, and it wouldnt be reusable. Naturally, Cale came back with a more expensive estimate. I explained to Cale that the bolts securing the door can be removed, and even showed and explained how. Cale said he would look in to it and get back to me. Cale never got back to me. It seems that since he couldnt upsell me, he just decided to stop communicating all together. The best part of it is that i fixed the door issue myself, with a pack of $10 door shims, rather than the nearly $2k price tag Cale wanted to replace the whole door.

    This weekend we shopped for everything including the kitchen sink! We were all over the store looking and relooking at all the appliances before making our final decision and purchases. One sales representative went out of his way several times throughout the afternoon to ask if we need help, were we finding everything okay, or could he help. His name is Darin Torres and he works in the plumbing area. We kept circling around and around reading all the labels on the appliances and we were there for some time. Darin helped answer endless questions about a fridge/freezer for my laundry room but the biggest help was his vast knowledge about kitchen sinks and faucets. When I told him about our kitchen remodel and we were looking at a sink online but couldn’t find the information about the gauge of the sink. Darin went out of his way to look into this for me. He tried his app, we tried my app the Lowe’s website and as it turns out after calling the company we learned they didn’t even post the gauge “22” anywhere on there website. Darin gave us a quick lesson on the durability and differences in gauges. I’m very grateful too because I was convinced the “All In One” package sink was it for us. I believe his knowledgeable insight has helped us make a wiser choice. We are determined to purchase a 16 - 18 gauge sink. Darin Torres is a rare find in customer service these days. He has the knowledge, experience , the friendly customer service with genuine smiles. I believe he truly likes his job and wants to help people. He certainly helped us.     I purchased a washing machine a few days ago with a delivery window of 4 hours from 11:30-3:00pm. The delivery men arrived between 7 and 7:30am. I told them to come back at my scheduled time because my sister needed to be here. They talked with Lowe's and told me Lowe's said to deliver anyway. They said that my delivery at the scheduled time was void because Lowe's had them going to Harrah at my time scheduled. I agreed to a later date, but was told my delivery time would be between 8am and 8 pm. I'm 83 years old and I will not let 2 men in my home at 8pm. I've had Lowe's put in a complete kitchen in my home plus appliances. I shop there at least twice a month. You are considered to receive good customer service only by the amount of money you spend and your gender. If you are a senior or woman be aware of the treatment from this company. Patricia Chapman

    I must highlight Marcus Dollard, Sales Specialist at the Moore Lowe’s location. His customer service is outstanding. We are shopping for kitchen appliances for our new remodel and Marcus was able to help us with experience in electric vs gas ovens, as well as kitchen sink sizes and variety gauges from 14 to 22. He gave us the confidence we need to make informed decisions. If you have questions look for Marcus, he is awesome.

    Todd from the Garden Center went beyond customer service. Todd stopped me as he saw I was loading some heavy stones to the cart. And finished loading the rest AND loaded them to my truck along with dirt bags. Thank you Todd for Excellent customer service :-)
