    Check out the companies that install for Lowes before you agree to it! We bought carpet from Lowes, which was great but the installer made my daughter feel very uncomfortable hitting on her and then asking her out. Very unprofessional not to mention twice her age. So gross. He also advised us to keep our shoes on verses walking barefoot or wearing socks claiming the oils from our feet that would ruin the carpet. I'm not buying that one but what a great way for Lowes to keep getting more orders for carpet and repeat business for the contractor. The other example is an appliance that was purchased at Lowes and then contracted out to be hooked up. This could have turned out very deadly as the installer did not do it correctly and resulted in a gas leak, an ambulance trip, and an ER visit all of which the contracted company and Lowe's are not doing anything to resolve the situation. It's disgusting. I like Lowes but will NOT purchase anything that needs to be installed. These contracted companies indirectly represent Lowes and there is MUCH room for improvement. Heed caution!

    Lowes sucks. I would never go there if I definitely didn't have to. A couple of the associates are awesome but prices & selection sucks. Cant wait til Menards comes to town & rivals them.

    Went to my local store, indoor plants! So many are dead or dying from lack of water. Stop selling them or take care of them!!!!!!

    I am very disappointed with the level of service we have experienced at our local Lowe’s. My husband initially ordered wood and was informed it would take approximately one week to arrive. When he attempted to call for an update, he was unable to reach a representative and encountered only an automated system with no option to speak to a person. He then visited the store in person, only to learn that his order had been canceled without notification. An associate assisted him in placing the order again and advised that he would be contacted once it arrived. He later received a text message indicating that the order was ready for pickup; however, upon returning to the store, he was told the order had once again been canceled. The order was placed for a third time, and he was assured it would arrive the following day, with a promise of a personal call when it came in. Unfortunately, he did not receive a call the next day and waited an additional day before contacting the store himself, at which point he was told the order was available. Overall, the experience has been marked by confusion, poor communication, and a lack of accountability. It is concerning that there appears to be little coordination or follow-through among staff.
