At Hoover Gardens and Gift Center, our mission is to serve the gardening, landscaping and home decorating needs in our community, one person at a time. Whether it’s diagnosing a pest problem, offering plant suggestions or providing inspiration for your next gardening project, our customers are always our focus as we take the time to offer individual assistance. Our gift shop is the perfect place to visit when looking for a one-of-a-kind gift or home décor. We also have a variety of statuary, fountains, benches, and arbors. And like our garden center, our gift shop changes with the seasons so you can expect unique gifts and décor year-round. Additionally, we offer gift cards available in any amount.

Stroll through our garden center for the highest quality annuals, perennials, tropical houseplants, succulents, cacti, trees, shrubs, edibles, pond plants, fish, and pond supplies. We also offer soils, mulch, fertilizers, seeds, and gardening tools to help you be a successful gardener. During our peak season you’ll be mesmerized and inspired by our floor to ceiling vibrant, lush plant displays. Additionally, our staff works hard to grow many of our unparalleled hanging baskets for both sun and shade. And be sure to check out our trial garden--it’s a must see for the newest plant varieties! Our greenhouse is constantly changing with the seasons, so you can always expect to see something new.

Our highly knowledgeable staff is always available to offer their expertise for any plant problems or questions. Whether it’s what’s eating your hosta or trouble with a non-reblooming hydrangea, we’re here to help! We pride ourselves on our individual customer focused approach to help set you up for success.

We’re here to get your yard looking it’s best! Our clean-up services include leaf removal, select pruning of plant material, cutting back perennials, removal and planting of annuals, edging, trimming of shrubs, debris disposal, mulching, fertilization and insecticide treatment. There is no fee for cleanup consultations and cleanups are priced at an hourly rate.

Installing trees and shrubs is no easy job. That’s where we come in! We’ll install all trees and shrubs you purchase for half of the original price of each tree and shrub. There is not an additional delivery fee with an installation. You don’t even have to be home for us to complete an installation. We’ll provide you with flags to mark the perfect spot in your yard where you would like us to plant the trees and shrubs.

Want beautiful containers but don’t know what flowers to plant? Our custom potting department is here to do the work for you. We create stunning containers for every season that will make you the envy of your neighborhood. Just bring us your containers or we can pick them up and we’ll give you a call when they are complete. We can also deliver the containers back to you. Please note, delivery fees will apply. Custom potting costs vary depending on size and quantity but we always work within your budget. We always have grab and go custom pots ready for purchase, too!

The holidays can be stressful, especially finding the time to decorate your property. From hanging lights outside to stringing garland on your mantle, our professional decorators are here to alleviate that stress and give your house a special touch for the holidays. We even offer post-season removal. Pricing is based on an hourly rate.

Let us help make your Holidays hassle free! We offer two Christmas tree delivery packages. In our ELF PACKAGE, we’ll deliver and place your tree in its stand inside your house. In our SANTA PACKAGE, not only will we place the tree in its stand inside your house, but we’ll also remove the tree after the holidays!

Updating your home’s landscaping can increase the value of your property and give you the outdoor retreat you’ve always wanted. Our landscape designers offer at home consultations which includes an hour long, thorough consultation of your entire yard and area of interest complete with a landscape sketch. Our designer will then meet with you for a follow up appointment at our garden center for further customization and to help you pick out the right plants based on your sun and shade exposure. Additionally, our landscape team can install small decorative ponds or clean and fix an existing pond.

We host lecture seminars and hands on workshops throughout the year which range in topics from fairy gardening, to herb gardening, to wreath making and more! We also host private group workshops, perfect for birthday parties, community organizations or any other group you’re involved with. Please call us for more information on having your own private workshop. RSVP via phone and prepayment is required for workshops. There is no charge for lecture seminars. Additionally, we host a variety of spring and fall festivals the whole family can enjoy, complete with bounce houses, games, our haunted maze (during the fall) and more!
