Worst company to have to call and try to talk to your account I've ever experienced, and if you ever need to cancel it takes forever. Think you would be able to mange your account online and not through a call center in 2026? Think again. Never using them again, never recommending them. They make it a hassle and try to lock you into contracts. If I could I would give 0 stars.

Customer service at Aptive is a joke. I called to cancel and they keep charging me. I have cancelled twice now. They are so hard to contact and work with. DIY for pest control, this is not worth it.

Mikel was on time, communicated with what was performed and what was needed, pictures sent with areas of service, respectful and caring, and overall and job well done! I would prefer if he is the person always performing the service but this company is actually awesome and you do get the best bang for your buck (Since switching to this company, we have seen a major decrease in insects and pest and we are extremely grateful. Will continue receiving services from company as long as they continue to bring the most value).

We have had Aptive pest control for about one year. During this past year we have found several spiders during this past year. No big deal, we dealt with it without much of a problem. The past four weeks have been a different story. We have had a serious problem with fleas. My two dogs and cat have had a serious problem with fleas. My husband contacted the customer service, they set us up with a service call the next day. We had no follow up calls from management after being told we would. We still have the flea problem, animals are miserable after multiple flea treatments-we are miserable…

I’m conflicted. The salesperson was friendly, but talked very fast. He told me how much they would do-inside and out. He specified spiders, wasps, fleas, aphids, and mosquitoes. He told me the special is only $29.99, then $80 per month. He said it is easy to cancel, and if I canceled, to protect the worker they would charge me, in his words “a buck ninety nine.” I had noticed some spiders in my basement and agreed for the treatment. The worker came the next day-came in, introduced himself and asked a series of questions verifying that the salesman had told me certain things. One was that if I canceled I would be charged $199.00 for the first application. So the “buck ninety nine” was $199. Then he proceeds to say he’s only doing the outside- sales guy said he would treat the yard, the shed, garage, and inside. That didn’t happen. I really feel I’ve been “taken” and I’m pretty disgusted. He also said he’d send pictures by text of what he did. Never received anything.

Why am I still seeing pests after my first treatment?
If you are seeing pests right after your treatment, odds are you are witnessing them flee your property, which typically means the treatment is effective. If after a week you are still seeing pests, give us a call and our service professional will gladly return to treat your home at no additional cost.
How much does professional pest control cost?
Our professional pest control plans start as low as $49 to $55 per month for our Basic plan, depending on your location. We offer three primary tiers—Basic, Pro, and Premium—designed to fit different levels of protection needs and budgets.
Do you offer same-day pest control services?
Yes, depending on current technician availability. If you call before noon, we can often provide same-day service for urgent pest issues.
How soon can a technician come out for an emergency?
We strive for 24 to 48-hour response times. For emergencies like a yellow jacket nest or indoor roach sightings, we prioritize your call in our daily schedule.
Do you spray both the inside and outside of the house?
Yes, standard service covers both. We focus on the exterior to stop pests at the source and treat the interior (baseboards/under sinks) to eliminate any that have already entered.
What areas are included in a "perimeter" treatment?
A perimeter treatment covers 3 feet up the foundation and 3 feet out into the yard. We also treat windowsills, door frames, and eaves.
How do I get rid of an ant infestation in my kitchen?
To stop ants, we use "transferable" baits. Workers carry the bait back to the queen, killing the entire colony rather than just the ants you see on the counter.
What is the best treatment for German cockroaches?
German roaches require a combination of baiting, insect growth regulators (IGRs), and sanitation. They are resilient, so 2–3 follow-up visits are often required for total elimination.
Is pest control safe for children and infants?
Yes, we prioritize family-safe applications. By focusing on the exterior and using low-toxicity indoor treatments, we minimize exposure. We recommend keeping children out of treated areas for 30–60 minutes until dry.
What is your "Pest-Free Guarantee"?
Our guarantee means if the pests return between scheduled visits, we return for free. We stay until the problem is solved.
Do you offer free re-treatments?
Yes, all of our recurring plans include unlimited free re-treatments for covered pests.
Why am I still seeing bugs after my first service?
This is the "flush out" period. The treatment is driving pests out of their hiding spots. They will die off shortly after coming into contact with the product.
Why is the pest problem getting worse?
This usually happens with ants and roaches as they are attracted to our baits. This "surge" is a sign that the colony is actively feeding on the treatment.
How can I tell if a treatment was successful?
Success is measured by a steady decrease in sightings and finding dead insects rather than live ones.
Do you guarantee 100% elimination?
We guarantee to control and manage populations to the point where they do not infest your living space. No one can stop every single bug from ever entering, but we ensure they don't stay.
