We couldn't get someone to help cut our wood then was sold another precut piece at full price that ended up not being cut properly to where we could not use it. An employee named Sarah did not put our phone number in correctly to where we could not return the product they messed up. Almost felt intentional at this point. Sarah really needs some more training with the public rather than belittling someone that she personally sold a bad product to.

7/6/26 at 1:55PM I had a very frustrating experience with the Lowe’s in Steubenville today. My online order kept getting cancelled, so I called the store hoping to get a clear explanation or help resolving it. I was placed on hold multiple times and transferred around without anyone properly assessing the issue or asking the right questions.
After several attempts, I asked to speak with a store manager. Unfortunately, the interaction did not improve. The manager’s tone felt dismissive from the start, and I did not feel like my concern was handled with basic courtesy or professionalism. I was not even asked for my order number before the conversation moved forward, which made it seem like the issue was being brushed off rather than actually looked into. I was just told that “It was cancelled from the corporate level”.
I have worked in customer service, so I try to be understanding when stores are busy or short-staffed. However, the phone etiquette and overall handling at this location were very disappointing. If this is the level of service being modeled by management, it explains why the rest of the phone experience felt so disorganized.
Corporate should seriously consider additional customer service and call-handling training for this location. Customers calling about cancelled orders should be met with patience, professionalism, and an actual attempt to resolve the issue.

Isle's are extremely cluttered, messy & disorganized. Not thrilled that the restrooms are all the way in the very back corner of the store. I don't think they could've been put anymore inconvenient,,,for anyone. Might as well put them behind the building & over the hill. 🤔

If I could give it less then 1 star I would. This lowes is probably one of the worst lowes I've ever been to. Most employees have no clue what theyre doing or where things are. The shelves are hardly ever stocked. Nothing was where it should be. The store was disgusting. And most employees seem to hide when they see you looking for someone they hurry up and turn a different aisle. I was trying to get some lumber and the size I needed they had barely any(maybe 10) on the shelves and they were all very crappy. I asked a lumber employee if they had anymore he said no without even looking then he tried to point out other lumber that was totally different sizes. I dont know if he just didnt know or assumed im a woman and I wouldn't notice. He finally decided they might have some out back but told me they all crappy. I asked him if he could bring some in since there was very little on the shelf. He said I guess while trying to talk me out if it. Then he goes outside comes back in and says they have none. Another employee came over and he brought a whole lift in and apologized. He was the best employee you guys have. The lines at the cash registers are horrible( I dont blame the cashiers on that. I could write a bunch more but this post is already very long.
