I ordered an item for pick up. I got a text that it was ready. I drove to curbside pick up and I waited over half an hour. Finally someone came out and said they were sorry but they suspect an employee lost my item. I needed to come in and come to customer service. I went to customer service and there was one woman ahead of me. For some reason, the two employees helped two other people that came in line behind me before me. I finally spoke up and said I was next Waiting before those other people. I was finally helped and I had my item refunded. They listed my item of a successful pick up and return and this is not actually true. I never got my item. It should’ve been listed as lost or canceled. I was at Lowe’s for over an hour on a busy day and I left without my item. What a complete waste of time. They should not have texted me that my order was ready until it was in a spot ready for me and that they knew it was there. Also, it was a plant protector for some plants that I bought. I did not put the plants in the ground until I knew I could get this protector. So I planted my plants and drove over and now I don’t have my plant protector. So the plant that I just brought will probably now be eaten by rabbits. This is all been a complete waste of time and money for me.p

I am very disappointed in Lowe’s . I ordered a lawn mower earlier this month to be delivered. A couple days after receiving the mower I tried to mow my grass and couldn’t get the self propell to work. I spent the day trying to figure out what I was missing or what could be wrong but could not. My adult son then drove down from Cleveland to see if he could help. He then spent time trying to figure it out but could not either. I then tried to return it on line but was only given the option to bring it back to the store or print a shipment label and drop it off at Fed Ex. I then called the store to explain not only does the mower not fit in my car but it is also too heavy for me to lift . I was informed Lowe’s will only pick up a delivered return within 48 hours. I requested to speak to a manager. The person said they would talk to a manager to see if anything could be done. They came back and informed me the manager said there was nothing they could do. I asked that when I ordered a replacement mower to be delivered could they just take the non working one. I was informed they could not do that. So I now have to coordinate a time for my son to take off work with a day I can be off work for him to again drive down from Cleveland so that he can lift it into his car to be able to return their non working mower. I am an RN at a pediatric hospital. Never in my many many years of working with patients and families would I tell them, “sorry, that’s just our policy”. We have given families gas cards to get to the hospital and gift cards when we have inconvenienced them. We go above and beyond to make sure people are taken care of. Lowe’s did nothing to help a customer nor did anything to try make it right. It is sad to see corporations not thinking of the customer when supposedly providing customer service. In the future I will make every effort to not purchase from Lowe’s.
