  Highly recommend their service. They did a great job trimming one of our large trees in the backyard and also carefully cleaned up the site. They also have up to date insurance.

  We recently bought a house that has a quite a few trees behind it taking up the last ten feet of our back yard. Several were just too close to the house for us to feel safe during wind storms. Others were dead and/or leaning heavily. We also had two stumps that were tripping hazards. I asked 5 places for quotes. Three got back to me. Mid Ohio was in the middle, which is how we usually choose. Low bidders may not know what they are doing. High estimates may be gouging. Mid Ohio's quote felt reasonable, and the gentleman who met us for the quote was quite knowledgeable. The crew that arrived worked like a well-oiled machine. They worked around each other safely and made quick work of removing trees and stumps like a "dis-assembly line". On top of the usual hard hats and vests, I noticed they had good ear protection which also allowed them to communicate effectively. I asked one person a question, and he was able to relay it to the best person for an answer without anyone stopping their work. As they finished an area, someone cleaned up with a leaf blower. Once all work was done, I found no wood chips in the yard. Our back yard now has a nicer look at the tree line. All I need to do is use a garden rake to lightly level a few areas where stumps were ground. They filled the holes with a little extra mulch and dirt to make sure it does not become a low spot holding water (which I appreciate). I would easily use them again, likely without bothering to get other quotes.

  Several years ago we had a large maple tree fall on the house after a nasty storm. Mid Ohio Tree service came out and check the situation out, we had no leaking, so they came back the next morning after their assessment. The crew came out, explained all they were going to do, and got right to work. They removed the tree without further damaging the home, and then even checked the roof for any breaks and damages. Going just those little extra steps shows they care about the customer.

  They showed up on time and did a great job taking down 3 large trees that were close to the house and electric and phone lines. The cleanup was excellent. I would highly recommend this tree service. All crew members were professional and took great pains and care to safely remove the trees with little or no damage to other trees and the yard. I would definitely use them again.
