However, the issue was with the pricing and how it was handled. There was absolutely no clear conversation beforehand about what this service would cost. I was in a stressful situation, and I feel like that was taken advantage of. Immediately after unlocking my car, one technician repositioned his vehicle so I couldn’t leave, while the other demanded $340 for the service. That felt extremely coercive and unprofessional, especially given that the price was never clearly disclosed upfront. To be fair, they did get the job done. But if you’re considering using this service, be very cautious—make sure you get a firm, all-in price before they arrive. The cost I was charged was far above what’s typical for a basic car unlock.
