  They made a “new” flat skeleton key for the vintage Yale lock to my Thomasville nightstand. Originally, it was locked and I picked the lock open using an old key ring which I straightened out and modified it to open the small lock to get into the nightstand. I took the lock off and took it to Cuyahoga Safe and Lock and they made me two new keys.🔑 They locksmith has 38+ years experience and I just think it was amazing how he was able to make an exact duplicate of a vintage key from scratch when you can’t even disassemble the vintage lock to see it’s internal components. Wow! Amazing! 🤩 I am more than satisfied and grateful as well. I have more work for this business that I need help with. Thank you for this service and quality work! Turnaround time was only a couple days. 10 stars!⭐️

  What a relief to have such skilled and helpful local locksmiths! We have used their services numerous times in our home to install and/or change locks but this month we had to visit them on several occasions due to brand new doors and locks on our home's exterior. Bill, the owner, evaluated the quality of a lock we were planning to purchase online from a different company due to the need for an historical-appearing knob for one of our doors that Cuyahoga Lock doesn't stock and cannot order. He was gracious to supply his expertise even though he was not earning a cent from the purchase! He also special ordered an appropriate knob for the other door and supplied a temporary lock for that door until the special order could arrive, at no additional charge. He cut numerous keys that all fit perfectly. His patience and support during a trying time of construction and concern about our doors was invaluable. Finally, Mark, an expert locksmith whom we have had do our installations previously, came to our home to key all the locks alike and adjust them to ensure they opened smoothly. We cannot recommend this company highly enough!
