We recently had a fiberglass pool installed by Hawaiian Pools. All of the work has been top notch and used high quality components. On their service side Aaron has been great to work with and is clearly passionate about his work and helping customers to understand the system and how to operate it.

I've used Hawaiian pools for the last 12 years for my pool closing and to have the liner replaced. I've always paid my invoices on time. The past few years their prices have increased significantly and in my experience the quality of service has declined. In 2024 they did my pool closing for the winter and never turned the timer on the pump off or the breaker panel. My timer for the pump didn't usually kick on till late evening so i never noticed till about a week after closing that the pump was running dry every night. When i called them they said oh it should be fine in the spring just turn it off. Luckily i did not have any issues in the spring of 2025. Fast forward to closing of 2025, after they closed the pool i received an invoice and they charged me for chemicals that I purchased separately and provided when the technician arrived and they definitely used because the containers were empty when they left. When i talked to the office manager she got snotty with me and said are you accusing us of stealing your chemicals of which i responded no I did not say that but I definitely provided them so maybe you charged me by mistake or someone marked a checkbox on their service sheet incorrectly so she removed it from the bill. Now for the spring of 2026, I opened the pool and went to turn the pump on and one of the valves up by the pump started spewing water everywhere. When i looked at the bottom of it the valve was cracked all the way across. If you don't open a ball valve to let the water that gets trapped in it out it will freeze and crack. When i called to let them know about it I was told that my account was marked DNS (Do Not Service), I guess because I complained about my invoice for the chemicals that they charged me incorrectly for. I said if you want to refuse me service in the future that's fine i will take my business elsewhere but you performed a service for my winterization and i expect that it would be fixed since the work wasn't performed correctly. She then told me that they don't warranty their winterization service!!! I responded, so if your technicians make a mistake you aren't willing to stand by your work? She said she would talk to the technical manager and have him call me. I never received a callback and its been 3 weeks. I paid someone else to come and replace the broken valve. The statement that "we don't warranty our winterization service" just floored me. The main reason i use a company and am willing to pay the premium fee to do the closing is because they are supposed to be professionals and know what they are doing.
