  After more than 15 years as loyal Lowe's customers, this experience has convinced us that we will never shop at Lowe's again. Over the past several months, we purchased numerous products from Lowe's—including flooring, paint, a vanity, shower tile, lighting, and other materials—to complete a bathroom renovation. The vanity we selected was no longer available for purchase except as a display model. After carefully inspecting it and finding no visible defects, we agreed to purchase the display unit. At the time of purchase, the store manager acknowledged the inconvenience of having to buy the display model and provided a discounted price. Approximately a month or so after the renovation was completed, a hairline crack developed in the bowl of the engineered marble sink. Given that the vanity had been installed for less than two months, it was reasonable to expect some form of warranty protection for what was clearly a manufacturing defect. I contacted Lowe's customer service, which in turn contacted the manufacturer. After determining that a replacement sink bowl was not available, customer service issued a Return Authorization number and instructed me to visit a Lowe's store to arrange a return or exchange. We specifically chose this vanity because of its offset sink design, making replacement with a different model undesirable. With our receipt and Return Authorization number, we visited our local Lowe's store. We were informed that to receive an exchange or refund, we would need to bring the entire vanity back to the store. We were also told that an even exchange could be completed, as the store still had two units of the same model available. Although this meant paying a contractor to remove and later reinstall a replacement vanity, we complied with the instructions provided. Several days later, we transported the defective vanity back to the store, leaving us with no sink but under the impression this would be a hassle free exchange. What followed was one of the most frustrating customer service experiences we have ever encountered. Three separate employees were unable to determine how to process the Return Authorization correctly. Rather than resolving the issue properly, an employee chose to process a standard return instead of the exchange we had been instructed would be available. To make matters worse, we were then charged significantly more for the replacement vanity than we originally paid. Despite the fact that this was a defective product that had been installed for less than two months, Lowe's refused to honor the exchange process previously communicated to us. When we objected to this treatment and the significant inconvenience we had already endured, another employee informed us that an exchange was not possible because the original purchase was, in his words, "a one-and-done deal." This policy was never communicated to us by customer service, was never mentioned during our previous visit to the store, and is not stated anywhere in Lowe's return or exchange policies. We had spent days exchanging emails with customer service, made multiple trips to the store, paid a contractor to remove the defective vanity, transported the vanity back ourselves, and wasted countless hours attempting to resolve a problem that originated from a manufacturing defect. Instead of standing behind a product that failed within two months, Lowe's created obstacle after obstacle and ultimately forced us to pay more money to replace a defective item. The entire experience demonstrated a shocking lack of communication, training, accountability, and customer care. At no point did Lowe's make any meaningful effort to correct the situation or honor the expectations that were repeatedly set by its own employees. As a result, Lowe's has lost our buisness. Despite having a Lowe's conveniently located near our home, we will gladly drive out of our way and spend our money elsewhere. Future home improvement projects will be completed with competitors that value their customers and stand behind the products they sell.

  Lowe’s enforces utilization of apps and webpages but never properly train their employees on expectations, systems, etc. defeating when you walk out of a store needing more help than you did when you entered!!

  My boyfriend went Lowes with the intention of buying wood to replace our front porch...A worker was asked if they had 82 1 by 4s tongue and grove he said yes but first he need to help another customer since he's the only on duty..my boyfriend proceeded to get all the rest of product he would need after waiting more than an hour and a half he got pissed and left everything guess Lowes didnt want to make over a $1000

  Went there this morning to buy some plants and noticed the house plants were on sale so i picked out a huge beautiful monestera that was originally priced at 40 dollars. I even asked an employee near by if it was on sale and he said yes! When i took it up to the counter to check out the lady checking me out said it wasnt on sale and that nobody told her that there was a sale. I explained that i doubled checked with another employee and he said it was. She refused to give me the discount and said she couldnt do something for that big of a plant at that price. She said she would have to call a manager and that was too much work? I asked her if she could hold the plant for me so i could come back for it later then( i wasnt understanding why she couldnt give me the discount and didnt want to cause a scene) she said she would hold it for me. I went back around 4 o clock and asked about the plant and sure enough it was gone someone had bought it. The lady checking me out was EXTREMELY RUDE and would not listen to me at all. Very disappointed and hurt because i was very excited for such an amazing plant. Will never go back and dont recommend :(
