The Issue with the Product
After only four uses, the unit began cutting out and repeatedly triggering the carbon monoxide (CO) indicator. This is a critical safety failure, rendering the machine dangerous and unusable.
The Experience at Store #181
On attempting to return this defective item, I was met with significant resistance from the Assistant Manager on duty. She refused the return on the grounds that the item was "out of the box" and cited a 48-hour return policy for generators, which they consider to be a major appliance. A refrigerator and stove is a major appliance, not a generator. Those types of appliances I can see imposing a 48 hour return policy because they will be used immediately. A generator can be purchased but not used immediately, therefore the 48 hour return policy doesn’t give a customer the opportunity to learn if the product js defective.
I would like to highlight the following concerns regarding this interaction:
• Lack of Policy Transparency: As I utilized the self-checkout lanes, this 48-hour policy was never communicated to me. There was no signage at the registers or within the self-checkout area. While a sign was later pointed out to me in the Returns department, I had no reason to visit that area during my initial purchase.
• Safety Concerns Dismissed: Despite being informed that the unit is signaling a CO hazard, the manager stated there was "nothing she could do" and offered no alternative solution.
• Withholding Information: When I requested contact information for the District or Regional Manager to escalate the safety issue, my request was denied.
• Inability to Provide Documentation: Despite providing the exact date and transaction amount, the manager claimed she could not locate the transaction in the system to reprint my receipt.
Absolutely horrible experience! Holding customers to a policy that is not communicated or visual in the checkout area is unacceptable. I have video to show no signage posted regarding the return policy in the self checkout area.

BUYER BEWARE!!!! You can spend thousands on a project and go to return unused!. Unopened plumbing fittings. but since you didn't complete your project in 90days you're S.O.L and they don't do store credit anymorw or anything to help mitigate the issue...never had an issue like this at menards or homedepot better customer experience from them. I can atleast get a store credit to use on other home projects.

Customer service at this location is absolutely horrible.
I came in on Saturday to buy plants and check the price of some pavers that were marked on sale. I even had an employee verify the price on the sticker, and she confirmed it was correct. After going home to measure for our project, we came back Sunday ready to purchase.
We loaded up 67 pavers, which are not light and brought them to the front. The cashier at that time asked us to take a picture of the tag and come back, so that’s exactly what we did. When we returned to check out, there was a different cashier, Katie B. As soon as we showed her the picture of the barcode, she was immediately rude and dismissive, insisting that wasn’t the correct price.
Instead of listening, she raised her voice and even pushed past other customers to grab a different paver to scan. I calmly explained that we had already verified the price the day before with another employee and that the pallet was clearly labeled. She refused to listen and continued with a bad attitude.
When we asked for a manager, her attitude got even worse. The floor lead eventually came over, walked back to the pallet with us, and even acknowledged that the tag was placed directly below the product. Despite that, and despite their own employee previously confirming the price, they still refused to honor it.
This was a frustrating and exhausting experience, especially after doing everything we were told to do and hauling dozens of heavy pavers. Completely unacceptable customer service.

It appears that I’ve been charged multiple times for an order. How can I resolve this?
These charges are likely authorization holds that are placed throughout the life cycle of your order to ensure the funds are reserved for your purchase. When you place an order, your payment method is authorized for the full amount of the purchase. As items from your order ship, your payment is charged and the authorization is no longer held by Lowe’s. Orders shipped in multiple shipments will be charged separately at time of shipment; therefore, you may see multiple charges, but they'll never exceed the full amount of your order. For orders with longer lead times, your method of payment will be reauthorized to ensure funds remain available until your item is shipped. If you observe multiple pending authorizations, please contact your financial institution as each bank’s policies differ on how long authorizations are held.
