  Currently waiting 20+ minutes for curbside order. Happens every time—“hang on, we’re running behind…” called in, been in AI hell calling them to see when they will “conveniently bring our order directly to our car.” We do not recommend the curbside service. At least if you want to have your stuff actually conveniently delivered to your car.

  Before I say anything else, I just want to emphasize that the service recovery of a couple of employees is what saved my experience and this review. Justus (I think the associate store manager?) was proactive and courteous, and problem-solved to make what was a frustrating experience ultimately come out okay. He obviously takes pride in his work and cares about treating people coming for help with a service/product as actual people who are having a problem and seeking a solution, which is so appreciated. I want to call out and comment how he and another associate (whose name I didn’t catch, I’m sorry!) noticed that I was looking uncertain and unsatisfied and approached me to ask if I needed help, rather than waiting for me to find them or someone else. They were in the middle of a different task, no less, so I especially appreciate that they paused that to help solve the problem I was having. They get full marks from me and I wish it were possible to separately rate the employee service versus the system of off-location storage and online ordering, which seems to be the bigger problem than employee customer service. The process of ordering an item online and picking it up was very frustrating and (ironically) time consuming. My order contained two different items. You would think, given that it was a single order, these would be made available for pick up at the same time. This was not the case, as it turned out, so I ended up having to make two trips out, a week apart - one for one part of the order, a second for the other part. This wouldn’t have been necessary if the system would hold your order for pickup until all the items were ready, but when I received the notification that my order was ready for pickup, it also specified that it would only be held until a few days after. Again, this is a perfectly reasonable policy, IF everything is coming at the same time. If not, it just means you have to make separate trips for each item as it comes in, which is time consuming and defies common sense. Anyway, a week later, I come back for the second part of my order. It’s the right thing, and comes out on time, but it is in terrible shape - damaged and just looks bad. I then had to choose between complaining about this and asking for a replacement, but potentially having to wait another week and risk the same problem happening again, or just sucking it up and paying full price for a product that was already messed up. Because it had to be delivered to the store from a separate warehouse, there was no other identical, non-damaged item to swap in for it, so in the end, with the help of Justus as mentioned above, I walked away with a similar product, but still not the item that I had specifically picked out and waited ~ 2 weeks to have delivered so that I could proceed with my project. I’m okay with what I got instead, but it still would’ve been nice to have the thing that I actually thought I would be getting. Ironically, the store probably lost money on it also, because the item they gave me as a replacement was more expensive than the one I had originally ordered, but they (rightly) did not make me pay more for it, since it was Lowes’s error. Again, I would diagnose this as an issue with prioritizing an Amazon-style delivery system over the regular function of a brick and mortar hardware store.

  Don't buy Lowe's gift cards, especially if you are a veteran or a professional contractor: as lowes Now does not give you your 10% discount If you use gift cards ..and they don't bother to tell you this. ! ::In fact not only do they not post this information : they also do not tell their staff as even their managers did not know this for the first couple months ! ..nor do they give any explanation as to why? !.. So now if you do use a gift card, you have to go to customer service afterwards And have them mail you your 10% discount : in the form of another gift card!.. that's right.. they have to mail it to you. !.. their customer service desk cannot even give you that at the customer service desk. !.. What a waste of money for Lowe's to mail that to you. !.. and wanted aggravation, and in convenience for customers. !.. So this is discouraging to shop it Lowe's, if you have gift cards.!! And of course when they DO mail you the gift card they do not state the amount on the gift card!.. So when you go to customer service, you have to have them Give you a print out of the amount OF the gift card that they will be mailing to you! And btw: lowe's corporate will never reply Or answer any questions that you email them!

  My mother had carpet installed yesterday. The two guys who installed her carpet went thru the bedroom window with the new role of carpet once the old was removed. My mother noticed her expensive blackout shade was broken in the process, which the two guys never owned up to it. Do better Lowe's, this is ridiculous to happen to anybody when you hire contractors that don't pay attention to what they are doing and should have never went thru the bedroom window in the first place. This is absolutely ridiculous.

  The store manager, Justus, at this location went out of his way to help me with an issue other Lowe’s locations could not / would not address. Every time we go to this particular Lowe’s the staff seem extra helpful and very knowledgeable! 😊😊😊😊
