I haven’t been around staff like this in my life. So rude and unprofessional.

When you pay over $450 for a pool opening, you would think it would include basic cleaning and vacuuming. I called and asked after the opening. I think it was Matt I spoke with. He said in over 40+ years of opening pools we have never manually vacuumed a pool. Ok. Lesson learned. Do not use Eastgate Pools. In the 10 years I've had my pool opened it has never not included brushing the walls and vacuuming. Sadly, my regular local pool guy retired at the end of last season.

Had Eastgate Pools install our inground pool at the end of the 2024 season. Had them open the pool at the beginning of the 2025 season and the employees didn't tighten things and had about a 5,000 gallon leak in my yard. Had them close it the end of 2025 and for whatever reason this time, unlike end of 24, they took apart the salt cell. Had them open the pool ($460) a few days ago and the entire salt system unit wont turn on or function. Employee tells me they are having issues with that system from the same time period, after only 1 season of use? On top of that, they charged me to clean that same salt cell on a system that doesn't even power on?($50) They are "super busy" and in absolutely no rush to help you once a situation like this comes up. They want to sell pools and couldn't care less once they have that final payment in hand. It seems obvious the items they use with these pools are garbage if they can't last more than a season. 2 for 2 issues on both seasons with this inground pool from Eastgate. I dont know anyone else with an inground pool installed elsewhere thats had such issues. Join a pool club, use another company and do yourself a huge favor. I handed these guys another $460 to open a pool that doesn't function as it should. The $30 for one jug of liquid chlorine is another nice screw job(5 times the cost of online sellers).

Do NOT recommend. We called and ask for our model and my serial number for our pool cover that was purchased from Eastgate Pools and they would not share it with me and they have it in their files. Do not recommend purchasing anything from Eastgate pools.

Frequently Asked Questions About Eastgate Pools & Spas

Do you sell Poly furniture?

Yes! At Eastgate Pools, we stock a HUGE selection of Berlin Gardens and Telescope Casual Poly furniture and we would love to show you the quality, the comfort, AND the great looks of both manufacturers. And if our huge selection still isn’t what you have in mind, we welcome special orders!

How often should I test my pool water?

It is recommended that you test your pool water a few (3-5) times per week. This will familiarize you with the slight differences in colors that will tell how your water is "doing." If you would like to compare your results with ours, we have state of the art water testing equipment that provides accurate results as well as helpful information such as safe ranges and proper adjustment dosages. We are always happy to help get you on the right track. Just bring us 12-16 ounces of pool water, taken from 18-24" below the surface, and we will be able to take it from there.
