  The team came out to view an emergency on an 89ft maple tree that had split down the side, and arrived within 25 minutes of calling their emergency line after hours. The next morning they had their crane and crew setup and had it down in under 3 hours. Professional and very attentive to ensuring minimal disruption on the property. Extremely smooth process, and every member of their team were involved and friendly. Highly recommend!!

  These guys are absolutely incredible at their job. The professionalism displayed in every aspect of this business should be commended, especially considering how terrible most businesses have become since Covid. This is part of the crew that was at my house and they did a great job. The crew they have is like a well oiled machine and they did a very difficult job while finishing it much quicker than they said they would. I cannot speak highly enough about these folks. As someone that has managed people for a quarter of a century now, I have to say that Luke did a great job leading this crew And all of them we’re happy to be here. I don’t remember all the names of everybody, but Jose was also pretty awesome They not only put the brush from the 6+ trees they took down in spot in the area I asked them to, but they neatly stacked the logs from the trees so that way I could have it all in one spot and cut it and split it for firewood. They did an excellent job with the cleanup and did a job a lot of other companies wouldn’t with perfection. As a Chainsaw enthusiast. Talking with Luke about some of the upgrades he had on his saw was also a lot of fun. Will be doing business with them again.

  Hoffman is my go to tree service company. I recently had a few big trees taken out and stump grinding done. Part of a stump was missed and was in the way of us leveling the yard, the owner personally came out and fixed it!

  I have mixed feelings about this company. On the positive side, they did an excellent job with the actual tree trimming and tree removal work. The crew was skilled, efficient, and the trees looked great when the job was completed. Unfortunately, the experience was overshadowed by how they handled our lawn. Before the work began, we made it very clear that protecting our yard was extremely important to us. The company agreed to place protective mats down to prevent their heavy equipment from damaging the grass, and this requirement was even written into our contract. Despite that agreement, no mats were used on our lawn at any point during the job. The equipment left significant damage to our yard, creating uneven areas and deep ruts. To make matters more frustrating, in order to access the trees they also had to travel through a private grassy area behind our home that needed special permission from the HOA. Interestingly, protective mats were used on the HOA-owned property, but not on our personal property—even though the use of mats on our lawn had been specifically requested and included in the contract. When we contacted the office to discuss the issue, we spoke directly with the owner. Rather than apologizing for failing to follow the agreed-upon plan, he was dismissive and condescending. His response was, "Trees don't just float away." Of course we understand that large equipment is required to remove trees. That's exactly why we requested protective mats in the first place and made sure that requirement was included in the contract. We weren't expecting the trees to magically disappear—we were expecting the company to honor the commitments they made before the job started. The only solution offered was to put down top soil and plant grass. As parents of a small toddler, this is more than just a cosmetic issue. Our yard is now uneven and presents a tripping hazard, making it difficult for our child to safely play outside. In addition, we're now spending extra time and money trying to repair the damage. We're having to carefully maintain and water the affected areas in hopes that the grass grows back as quickly as possible, all because the agreed-upon precautions were never taken. If all you care about is quality tree trimming and tree removal, this company does good work. However, if you take pride in your lawn, expect a company to follow through on its promises, and want respectful customer service when issues arise, I would strongly recommend looking elsewhere. A company that agrees to protect your property should actually do so.
