  Ineffective and very expensive! The chemical they use is a "repellant" and has drawn predatory stingers all over our property. The representative stated that they were lookng for somewhere to go as a result of spraying. Yeah right into your house to establish colonies! The products they use can be purchased at Rural King for a fraction. You will be forwarded to a call center in India they will talk to you like a chump and bill you again. You were warned.

  I called to schedule on a Sunday to have a wasps nest removed and they booked me for service the following day. The technician that came out was polite, professional, and seemed to know what he was doing. He removed the nest and sealed the entry point so they would no longer be able to get inside my basement. Two days later (Wednesday), I was still seeking significant wasp activity inside my house so I reached out asked if this was normal. He said it was normal to see a few stragglers at this point and that they’d die soon. The next day, I saw even more activity than I had been all week and that was concerning to me. At this point it had been 4 days since the service and it didn’t seem right to me that I was seeing more activity rather than less. So I called customer service. I explained my situation and was transferred. This happened at least 10 times. I kept getting the run around and no one wanted to help me. I was told that I shouldn’t have booked a one time service and that I should have booked a recurring service. HOWEVER, no one told me that at the time of booking. I was never told that I might need a recurring service. They booked me for a single appointment with the understanding that it would take care of my issue. The only solution I was offered was to book (and pay) for another one time service or to book (and pay) for recurring service. I asked to speak with a supervisor but was just continually transferred to random people. At the end of this phone saga, I spoke to someone who said that the operations manager would email me to let me know the final decision. I never got an email. The next morning (Friday) I did get a phone call and voicemail requesting me to call back but the number provided was out of service when I attempted to call. I’m not sure what to do at this point but it is now Saturday and I am still dealing with wasp activity inside my home after paying nearly $300 for the removal. DO NOT BOOK WITH THESE PEOPLE.

  We were with Aptive for 4 years and found that they were charging us for services we never received. Showing up at our house outside of scheduled times and charging us. We had to cancel our service numerous times (3) and threaten with an attorney before they actually stopped sending someone out and charging us money. They then offered us a non-contracted price if we returned and we decided to give them another chance. That turned out to be a lie and they tried again to get us into a contract today, and then the salesman started being insulting over the phone. Mind you, we were never reimbursed or credited for all of the money they charged us when we weren't serviced. It was also brought to us by 2 separate technicians that we were being charged 4x's the amount than we should for the size of our property and what we needed. They also have a high turn around and don't treat their techs the best. The tech that came out today was very kind and professional. But the rep on the phone can kick rocks. My next stop is the better business bureau.

  After taking a break from Aptive and trying Mira, could not be happier with my switch back to Aptive. Not only do they do a significantly better job with pest control, and a very customized treatment plan, but the team is very communicative and helpful. Ryan is outstanding. I really appreciate that he texts me before his arrival to confirm, specify needs of the treatment, and is friendly and professional. Could not recommend this team any more, keep doing good work! Ryan also has very thoughtful recommendations on the spot for the unexpected situations that arise during a treatment. He is also very respectful and careful around my vegetables and other areas I do not want treated. THANK YOU!

  The technician that came out to actually treat the home was spectacular. The customer service was not. When I initially called, I had told the customer service representative on a recorded line that I needed treatment because I had found a roach and the animals were coming up with fleas. I was also told that they could treat for all of that no problem and that they would also be looking for cobwebs outside of the house and hornet's nest. I was told that they would find the nest for the fleas in the roaches and treat them. When the technician arrived to actually do the treatment, he informed us that the roaches was not part of the basic treatment plan that I was given by the customer service rep. I was definitely lied to and I feel coerced into a contract that is not giving me the services I ordered and I plan on contacting corporate. When I spoke with the customer service rep to voice that I had been lied to in a form of omission from the initial phone call and she offered me hr's number to resolve the issue. They also threw their technician under the bus by stating that he did not want to do the treatment. Not an honest company in my opinion.
