I recently made a purchase at Lowe’s and had an extremely disappointing experience with the supervisor, Miss Donna. Normally when I check out at self-checkout, I simply scan or pull up my military discount account to receive my 10% discount. On this visit, I did not have my physical ID with me, so I went to customer service to ask if they could pull up my account using my phone number, which I have done successfully at multiple other Lowe’s locations before.
As soon as I approached customer service and explained the situation, Miss Donna immediately and very rudely told me that they could not help me and that I was not going to receive my 10% military discount because she could not verify my identity without my ID. When I explained that multiple other Lowe’s locations have always been able to pull up my account without an issue, she responded by telling me that “not all Lowe’s locations are the same” in a very rude and dismissive manner and walked away.
Afterward, I went to the cashier, and the cashier was easily able to pull up my phone number and apply my military discount without verifying my ID. Once the transaction was completed, Miss Donna then went over and scolded the cashier for helping me.
The entire interaction was unnecessary and unprofessional. I understand policies may vary from location to location, but there is still a respectful way to speak to customers, especially veterans simply trying to use a military discount account already on file. Someone higher up seriously needs to speak with Miss Donna regarding her attitude and the way she communicates with customers

Extremely disappointed with Lowe’s delivery service and the way this damage claim was handled. During a recent delivery to my historical home, the delivery team repeatedly hit and scraped the walls with a refrigerator while carrying it up the stairs to the second floor, damaging the wallpaper and walls in multiple places. This was the first major failure in what should have been a professional service experience.
I provided a legitimate $1,200 repair quote to restore the damaged areas properly, but Hub Group, the company handling incidents for Lowe’s, refused to compensate for the damage.
For owners of historical homes, repairs are not simple or cheap, especially when original materials and finishes are involved. The lack of accountability and customer care shown here was shocking. Customers should be very careful when using Lowe’s delivery services, especially if your home contains delicate or irreplaceable features. I expected professionalism and responsibility — instead I was left with property damage and zero resolution.

I finally received my grill exchange yesterday 05/04/2026 from my 2/2026 Original Order. They gave me an "upgrade grill" valued at $100 more than the original grill I ordered. I ordered a grill that I wanted with cast iron vs the stainless steel that they sent me. I chose a Cast iron grill because it offers the best heat retention for deep sear marks vs the stainless steel. I am sick and tired of calling this Lowes and would like for them to come back pick this grill up and give me a full refund.

I finally received my grill that was ordered in February with many cancellations from Lowe’s. Unfortunately they delivered a grill which does not work. They then promised me a new grill 2 weeks later……. and they cancelled the very morning of the delivery. No one has called me back from Lowe’s to let me know when this will be resolved. I’ve called twice now and no response from any of the management personal that I’m told will be calling me back. Since February and still waiting :/
