  WARNING: Be Very Careful Ordering a Kitchen from Lowe’s Ridge Hill I ordered my kitchen cabinets from Lowe’s back in April, and they were finally delivered on June 15. It is now August, and my kitchen is STILL not finished. I have repeatedly called the installation team and keep being told that someone will call me back in two days. I am still waiting. I have also contacted Lowe’s with photos and information about the problems with my kitchen, and I have yet to receive a call from anyone willing to resolve these issues. The designer I originally worked with has since been fired, and unfortunately, my kitchen was poorly designed. Some of the things I specifically requested were not included in my order. I wanted a design similar to what I saw in the Lowe’s showroom, but what I received was completely different from what I expected. Make sure you carefully review your entire design and your receipt before placing your order. I was charged approximately $2,000 in additional fees for services such as trash removal and removing the range services I did NOT use because I hired my own contractor to do them. When I questioned the charges, I was told by the designer, Rey, that Lowe’s automatically adds these fees. I was never made aware of these charges beforehand. I have been trying to get Lowe’s to correct these issues, but no one is taking responsibility or reaching out to me. At this point, my experience has been extremely frustrating and disappointing. I would strongly recommend that anyone considering a Lowe’s kitchen installation carefully review every detail of the design, every item on the order, and every charge on the receipt before paying. My experience has also made me question whether Lowe’s currently has enough manpower to properly handle kitchen installations and customer service after the sale. Please do your homework and be very careful before ordering a kitchen through Lowe’s.

  I walked into Lowe’s and saw their displays for halloween! I saw the displays as well as a bunch of boxes behind them insinuating that I can obviously grab one and purchase it. I walked out of the store with said purchase! I was even complimented by a staff member for purchasing the specific item! We had an entire conversation about how early it was to be celebrating halloween. After a long drive home I finally opened the box to see because I was so excited. I open the box to see it completely EMPTY. All that was in the box was loose pieces of cardboard. Now, if the box was light I’d understand. However, the box had weight to it and I heard the movement inside. I called Lowe’s to speak to them about this, and I was met with such disgusting attitude from their manager Michelle. I explained the situation and instead of “I apologize for this inconvenience,” I received “Well was it light when you bought it? Did it have ‘display’ written on it?” No it did not. The response of this was to tell me to bring back the box because “we need it back, AND THEN you can receive your refund.” Now not only was I inconvenienced out of gas money and time in my night, I was made to believe it was my OWN FAULT. I went to the store to receive my $140 back and the manager proceeded to disregard how inconvenient and unprofessional this was! It was my fault for not understanding that all those boxes displayed behind the items was only that! “Halloween decor isn’t even fully put out yet.” Was word for word what I received. It is not my job to know how your system is run! All I know is I saw a product. I purchased it!! And the item box was empty and it was my job to resolve it otherwise I was out $140. This was beyond unprofessional and rude and I am very upset with how it was handled. This type of professionalism is exactly how one loses business and I will not be back.

  Maybe it's because I don't go to lowes as much as the other big box company down the road but then again when I'm in Lowe's I can never really find what I'm looking for, they don't have the variety, the quality on some of the stuff isn't up to par. But this location, either I couldn't find the price on somethings and on others the prices where with incorrect or the product was in the wrong place, one product was 3.00 less than what was posted so that was a good thing. I feel like this Lowe's was kinda dark I actually had to use my cellphone light to find what I was looking for. And they didn't seem to have enough people working the floor. The pricing was something that happened at this location but others but the rest seems to be at all the stores.
