- STSeisei Tatebe-Goddu1 day ago1.0Charged us ~$180 to look at our refrigerator for 5 minutes, promised us a report and phone call with next steps. The tech was fine, we watched him draft the report in front of us. Tried calling 3x, the first time was told there was no report but they'd flag it as a rush job. Two calls fielded by an automatic AI agent which forces you to answer a bunch of questions before it submits a message. One of the worst use cases of AI I have seen. It has been almost 2 weeks and no word, the company ghosted us. Had to submit a credit card dispute. Today a second tech from a different company (ClearSky Appliance Repair) texted before arriving, wore covers on his shoes, took one look at the fridge and told us the bad news, charged us 50% of the quoted fee, and told us exactly what to do next. He then emailed us a report and invoice before even leaving the house.
