  My wife, who is wheel chair bound and I, stopped in to buy another mattress -the second one from city mattress in 8 months. There was one employee, Tim, the manager on duty. I asked him abbout mattresses I had seen advertised that morning on a Facebook Ad.. He took us to $3800 unit. I said no these were in the 600- 1000 range. He then took us to another area and showed us 2 of the 3 advertised. Two women then came in and he immediately left us and went to them never answering any questions. After about 15- 20 minutes we decided on one and went to find him. I found the desk where he was checking them out. After he finished them, I told him he should have helped us out first. He lied and said they were here before us, They were not. I was not happy and told him he should finish with a customer and he could tell them he will be right with them. He told me that is not how they run the business since 1964 and I was rude for telling him how to run it. I guess being rude is expecting the sales person to help you out.He never came back. I reluctantly bought the mattress because my wife thought it would work for her. He was the worst sales person I have dealt with in years. The City Mattrees in Depew was great. This City Matreess run by this jerk was terrible. He actuall said I could go to another locatio when I told him our treatment was much better at the Depew location. I will never return to i the Amherst NY location and hope I don't have to deal with this person again. City Matress needs to send him for some training.

  Very disappointed. Bought a #4 mattress. Supposed to be medium firm. Got it delivered and setup, all good. First night, terrible. Mattress was much firmer then the one we liked on display. Apparently the sign on the wall discribing the mattress is different then the one on top of the mattress at the foot of the bed. Paid the 75$ to exchange it for a #2, which was two steps down from the original #4. This one on display was much softer. Got it delivered, first night seemed exactly like the first #4 mattress. We thought all they did was give us the same mattress with a different tag on it. Now we are stuck with a mattress so firm we cant sleep on it. If anyone wants a brand new firm mattress look for it on Marketplace. Never buying from here again.

  I thought the salesman was great. He was very helpful, and made sure we got the mattresses that were best for us!
