  The location is great but the elevator situation is ridiculous. The employee on Sunday refused to let me use elevator because ‘it’s for wheelchairs only’ and insisted that I should carry my stuff up the stairs or lift it by about 4 feet at the unloading platform. Somehow he and whoever came with the rule not to let people use their only elevator thought that those were viable options, especially for a single woman. It makes the location practically unusable to me as it means that I would always have to rely on the kindness of strangers.

  They gave me a unit in the basement which was flooded. I had coverage which was covering water damage, but they said that flooding is considered a natural disaster. They paid nothing for the damage and gave me smaller unit for the same price. Big disappointment

  The location is perfect for Williamsburg residents. The prices are currently cheap - but expect them to change in 6 to 12 months. This storage location is newly constructed and has growing pains - only one elevator right now, large move-in was a nightmare with stairs v. only 2 truck offload spaces that other customers were competing for. Hand carts were small and inadequate compared to Extra Space Storage in Ridgewood. Expect move-in and move-out to be traumatic in exchange for convenient location, watch the rate increases, and you’ll be fine. The staff is helpful.
