Updated from a previously poor review….
Today in the Watertown store, I was assisted by an associate named Jim. He went above and beyond and did everything he possibly could to help me with a difficult exchange. He displayed the attitude of figuring out how to say “yes” instead of figuring out how to say “no”. Although his efforts were hindered by Lowe’s software and newly restrictive exchange policies, he persisted in doing everything he could to ensure I was a satisfied customer. As a courteous and helpful associate, who also happens to be retired from the U.S. Army, he’s exactly the type of person I’d hope to work with at every visit. Jim - thank you for your service to our country, and thank you for renewing my faith in Lowe’s.

Frustrating experience from start to finish. I had to cancel part of my order after it faced severe delays, and multiple items were ultimately lost in transit. When I contacted customer service, the associates were unhelpful and seemed completely unbothered by our concerns. After wasting days dealing with this lack of urgency, we decided to check elsewhere. We found the exact same items in stock and at a better price at Home Depot. We cancelled this order and will not be shopping here again. Save yourself the headache and go straight to Home Depot.
For context (photos attached): The order was originally placed on August 21st. The first part arrived on August 23rd, and the second part followed on August 28th. However, the final part was lost. Even though tracking shows it arrived at the store and was checked in on August 28th, it still hasn't been found as of September 3rd.

Bought a $2,200 refrigerator. Three day before delivery I was informed that I needed plumbing run behind the refrigerator with a compression valve. Too little notice! On the day off delivery, they couldn't quite fit my old refrigerator out of my front door so they asked me to remove my door. No problem. Then they asked me to remove 100 year old door jam that matched my house. That is now in fifty pieces! Not happy at all since the delivery literature said they would remove appliance doors if necessary to fit through for ways. Then comes my new refrigerator. Damaged so back onto the truck it went and away they went with both my refrigerators! Can't deliver another new one for two days. Now in addition to buying lumber and stain to replace my door jam, I've got to buy coolers and ice too get by... more expense. Lazy installation guys who wouldn't remove doors cost me money. Why wasn't the refrigerator inspected before delivery? Very, very unhappy customer. I'm in the market for a dishwasher too. Definitely won't be at Lowes. They've lost my business and I spend many thousands of dollars each year on my two homes. Bye bye Lowes unless you fix my door jam at your cost and pay for my coolers and ice!

Talk about a horrible service. From the lack of communication on delivery time, to crazy fast driving on a dead end street to the point they missed our house (we are the first house on the street), and the lack of actually service is ridiculous. We have always gone to Lowe's because they are friendly, respectful and helpful but the guys who deliver our washer and dryer set this morning SUCKED. Not only did they lay my brand new appliances on their glass faces in my gravel driveway the also laid them on their sides scratching the washer, they didnt even properly hook up the dryer vent, we had to unhook and re hook up the already damaged dryer vent to fit properly in the wall and under the machine. Yes we have a double water softener system but for them to not even try to hook up the washer is wild. We were there we could help, explain whatever. We paid for installation and spent almost 2 hours doing it ourselves because they just said no we don't do that and walked away. After stopping them from leaving I was able to find the instructions manual for the machines we paid to be hooked up for us!!
