Horrible customer service with respect to deliveries. I have purchased many times from Lowe's and thought highly of their garden department. But today's fiasco has completely changed my mind about the management of the store. This morning, I placed a same-day delivery order for mulch, compost, and edging. The extra delivery charge was $19.99. I needed these asap to get numerous newly purchased plants in the ground. I waited all afternoon and into the evening but no delivery. I called the store at 8:15 pm and was told my delivery was for tomorrow but that was because they changed it. I have my original order and it was definitely for today. Since they didn't get it delivered, they just moved the date this evening. But this could happen again. Be aware, they don't do the delivery. They outsource, like when restaurants use DoorDash. But the kicker is that one of the drivers has to decide they want your delivery. If not, it goes undelivered until eventually someone decides to deliver it or you cancel your order. It could be weeks for your "same day delivery" to arrive. Their system is fatally flawed. The store rep needed to elevate this to the contractor they use and ensure someone delivers my order.

Store has zero customer service. I went in to buy a washer and dryer and refrigerator. I had picked out my three items and proceeded to wait. Nearly a half hour went by and no employee was in sight. I was unable to call for anyone for assistance I even tried to use their intercom. So needless to say I bought my stuff elsewhere

They have moved items so many times and to so many different isles, that it is hard to find anything. Be sure to check online as to where an item is located before you even go to the store . Or you may just be wasting a lot of your time .
Also check online that the item that you are interested in purchasing, is even in stock . Yes, they do list your items , but they may be in stock in another store in another town. Or , you may have to order the item and wait a week for it to be delivered to your local store for Pick Up.
Visited the Home Depot store in Saratoga. That one store puts our local Home Depot and Lowe’s combined to shame . Home Depot in Saratoga seems to have in stock what you need and when you want it .
But whenever I do need something and know that I will receive excellent customer service , I frequent our local ACE HARDWARE ! 👍😊
